A lovely stay in a nice and quiet house on a hill with friendly owners

We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks. Lots of space around the house where we enjoyed the outside living. The owner is very friendly and is willing to help with every question and problem. When you enjoy walking, you can walk from the hill to the center of Balestrate (about 10-15 minutes walk). A car is needed to visit other places. There are a lot of interesting places to visit. Thank you Andreas and Ciro for making our stay very pleasant !

My husband and I had the privilege of staying here for the entire month of June and it was amazing. It is very accessible to the Palermo airport. The home is exactly as described. The beds are very comfortable and the view is fantastic. It is well equipped for cooking and laundry. We took many day trips and were always so happy to come back to our little house on the hill. There is always a cool breeze from the sea and the terraces are the perfect place to enjoy those breezes. Ciro is an amazing property manager with great communication and attention to detail. His English was very good! Andrea, the owner, is so very kind and came by every morning to water his garden and his many olive trees. He was very quiet if we were sleeping and always happy to talk to us if we were available even though our Italian was not good. I would highly recommend this home away from home. I would also strongly suggest having a car to reach this house up the steep driveway and surrounding towns for day trips. This is a great home base. I can't say enough good things about this place. For us, it was a trip of a lifetime. Grazie mille Andrea e Ciro.

Der Empfang von Ciro war sehr herzlich. Wir hatten einen Treffpunkt ausgemacht und er ist mit uns zum Haus gefahren und hat uns alles erklärt.Das Haus ist in Alleinlage auf einer Anhöhe. Man hat einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Bucht und bis hin zu Castellammare del Golfo. Auch bei Nacht sehr schön.Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas für geübte Autofahrer. Wenn ihr ihr Auto mietet, unbedingt einen SUV. Wir waren froh darum. Ein ganz enges Gässchen und viele Schlaglöcher. Bei einem normalen PKW setzt man auf.Das letzte Stück zum Haus hat etwas wie eine Rampe. Etwa 15-20% Steigung und Schlaglöcher. Links der Berg, rechts der Abhang. Zum Haus selbst: Es müsste vieles renoviert werden. Vor allem innen. Auf der Terrasse steht ein Tisch, der mit Panzerband repariert ist. Hinter der Terrasse liegen zwei verrostete Stühle. Von den 2 Liegen ist nur eine nutzbar. Innen ist das Mobiliar aus den 60er Jahren und müsste dringend erneuert werden. Der Küchenschrank riecht muffig und feucht. Das Geschirr ist irgendwie zusammen gesucht, das Besteck mindestens 60 Jahre alt. Wir wollten Salat machen, die Plastikschüssel hatte ein großes Loch. Die Waschmaschine hat ihr bestes Alter hinter sich. Darin möchte ich nicht waschen. Die Vorderfront ist mit Prestolith gespachtelt und am Waschmittelkasten nagt der Rost.Im Bad in der Dusche müsste mal ein neuer Duschkopf installiert werden und die Seifenablage ist total vergilbt und verdreckt. Die Unterkunft ist nur bedingt zu empfehlen.

Casa Di Andrea - Une experience inoubliable

La premiere partie de notre sejour a commence a Balestrate. Nous avons passe 5 jours a la Casa Di Andrea. Ciro et Andrea, deux hommes d'une immense gentillesse et tres chaleureux. Ciro est venu nous attendre a notre point de rencontre, afin de nous guider a notre hebergement et nous expliquer le fonctionnement de tous les appareils, l'internet, etc. La maison est securitaire, avec un stationnement prive pour la voiture, ce qui est rassurant. Ciro parle plusieurs langues, Francais, Anglais, Allemand, Italien et d'un charisme et sens de l'humour hors-pair. Notre famille de 5 personnes, comprenant ma maman, ainsi que nos deux fillettes, avons passe un sejour des plus agreables, dans un atmosphere rustique, tres propre, bien amenage et equipe pour une famille de cinq. La vue est absolument superbe, le coin tres calme, pres des plages, cafes et marches locaux, afin de faire la cuisine a la maison et meme profiter du BBQ. Notre sejour en Sicile n'aurait pas ete le meme sans Ciro et Andrea et leur hospitalite - Nous esperons les revoir un jour et revenir passer un sejour beaucoup plus long chez eux. Un tres grand Merci Ciro et Andrea🙏🙏🙏😘😘😘

Excellentes vacances passées dans les hauteurs de Balestrate, Ciro et Andrea sont des hôtes d'une très grande gentillesse. La maison offre des vues panoramiques fabuleuses, la brise marine est très agréable à tous les moments de la journée. La plage est facilement accessible en voiture, et les balades nocturnes siciliennes sont divertissantes. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute!

Excellent séjour chez Andréa

Si l'accès par un chemin étroit, pentu et cahoteux peut surprendre au départ, la maison est spacieuse et confortable avec un équipement simple mais complet. La terrasse toujours ombragée et naturellement climatisée par le vent marin offre une vue magnifique sur la mer et tous les environs. Andréa et son ami Ciro qui fait l'accueil en français sont très disponibles et réellement sympathiques. A recommander.

Wunderschöne Lage und traumhaften Auslick

Dieses Ferienhaus ist einfach fantastisch, um sich perfekt zur erholen. Einen traumhaften Ausblick auf die gesamte Bucht und obwohl der Flughafen nicht weit entfernt ist, bekommt man davon gar nichts mit. Das Haus ist perfekt für 4 Personen und hat alles,was man braucht. Andrea (der Besitzer) kommt morgens vorbei und gießt seine Pflanzen und versorgt seinen Hund und seine Katzen. Er ist sehr sympatisch und man kann sich mit ihm auch auf deutsch unterhalten. Bei speziellen Fragen ist Ciro(der Verwalter) immer erreichbar und er kümmert sich sofort um spezielle Anliegen. Da er sehr gut deutsch spricht, kann man sich mit allen Fragen an ihn wenden. Die Strände in nächster Nähe waren wunderschön und bis auf Sonntag, nicht überlaufen. Das Haus liegt optimal, um schöne Ausflüge zu machen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Vacanza casa da Andrea

Ciao a tutti . Siamo stati 14 giorni ospiti nella casa di andrea , il carissimo sigr. Ciro ha organizzato tutto. la casa Si trova circa 5 minuti con macchina dalla spiaggia di balestrate, si può arrivare anche a piedi, casa fantastica panorama fantastico , nella casa c’è tutto il necessario per relax . Io ringrazio molto il sigr Ciro e Andrea che sono statti eccezionali sempre disponibili per noi . La casa di Andrea e davvero eccezionale tranquilla lontano dai rumori , offre una camera da letto matrimoniale, e una camera con 2 lettini.Io e mia moglie e mia figlia di 4 anni siamo stati stupendi e spero di ritornare al presto da loro . Casa Andrea fantastisch !

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alle Fenster sind mit Insektenschutzgittern versehen. Die Küche ist sehr zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Alle Geräte haben gut funktioniert. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön, ruhig gelegen und doch nur 1,5 Km vom leicht abfallenden Sandstrand entfernt. Der Ort selber bietet alles was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt oder zum Ausgehen und Essen erwartet. Andrea (Besitzer) und Ciro (Verwalter) sind sehr nett und fürsorglich. Sie sind täglich erreichbar und hilfsbereit bei Fragen rund um Haus und Urlaub. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub ! Vielen Dank !

Großartige Lage

Objekt vom Flughafen Palermo sehr gut zu erreichen, aber ohne Fluglärm. Nach einer sehr steilen Anfahrt (nicht zu kleines Auto mieten!) wird man durch einen wunderschönen Rundumblick von der Dachterrasse belohnt. Sie ist das Highlight. Falls es dort zu windig ist, gibt es eine Etage tiefer ein geschütztes Plätzchen. Im Haus ist alles Notwendige vorhanden und funktioniert. Die Betten sind für Menschen über 1,90 m etwas kurz. Der Ort Balestrate ist unspektakulär, aber bietet alles, was man braucht.

Nous arrivons à la maison d'Andréa, sur les hauteurs de Balestrade, par un chemin grimpant, étroit et tortueux. Une vue imprenable sur le golfe de castelldellamare. Ein tolles Haus mit wunderschöner Aussicht!

Wir waren im August/September 2018 eine Woche in Andrea's Haus. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse über den Golf und die umliegende Landschaft war überwältigend. Andrea kam jeden Morgen um sich um seine Tiere und Pflanzen zu kümmern. Dabei konnten wir einige Worte in deutsch wechseln. Das Häuschen bietet alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Der freie Strand ist mit dem PKW in drei Minuten erreichbar (günstige Parkplätze reichlich vorhanden). Giro, der Verwalter spricht perfekt deutsch und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Alles in Allem die perfekte Unterkunft für Urlauber, die ihre Privatsphäre schätzen und im Einklang mit der Natur ihren Urlaub verbringen möchten. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder👍

Accueil très chaleureux de Ciro (Félicia est très discrète) La maison est située sur les hauteurs de Balestrate avec une vue imprenable sur le golfe de Castellamare. L'environnement paisible invite au repos et à la méditation. Pour les amateurs d'ornitho , vol régulier de guêpiers d'europe et avec un peu de chance voir la huppe fasciée en recherche de nourriture. Accès facile à l'autoroute pour visisite de Palerme ,Monréale à l'est et Ericé,Ségeste à l'ouest.

Rust en uitzicht

Na een week van de drukte van Palermo genoten te hebben belanden we op deze heerlijke plek net buiten Balestrate. We werden opgehaald door Ciro (die goed Engels en Duits spreekt), en voor hij ons boven op de heuvel bracht reed hij nog even door het dorp om de belangrijkste adressen te wijzen. Het huis is eenvoudig... een grote leefkeuken (die behoorlijk compleet is, zelf koken is hier prima te doen) en twee slaapkamers. Maar het belangrijkste.... twee terrassen! Vanuit het huis loop je zo het overdekte terras op waar het ook als het even wat minder weer is (we hebben twee buien gehad) nog prima toeven is. De baai en de omliggende heuvels zijn hier al goed te zien, maar vanaf het dakterras heb je helemaal een groots uitzicht. Het huis ligt geheel vrij, en behalve (zo nu en dan) wat hondengeblaf uit de buurt is het stil. Voor ons was dit een ideale plek omdat we in deze week rust zochten. De wandeling naar het dorp of het strand duurt zo'n 20 minuten (waarbij de 300 meter bij het huis erg stijl zijn!). Als we (zonder auto) echt nog iets hadden willen ondernemen buiten Balestrate hadden we een uitdaging gehad. De plaats wordt nll niet overdadig aangedaan door openbaar vervoer. Als je zelf een auto bij je hebt is dit ook een ideale uitvalplek voor het zuidwesten van Sicilïe

Ciro et le propriétaire sont très sympathiques et aidants. La maison est située en hauteur ce qui offre, outre une belle vue, un calme certain. Terrasse et cour devant permettent le repos. D'autre part un restaurant pizzeria Il cavelino bianco (conseille par Ciro et Andrea) est très bien. l'extérieur est très sicilien et l'intérieur plaira au plus grand nombre.

Zwei wundervoll - erholsame Wochen

Wir haben den Sommer durch unsere Sizilien-Reise bis in den Oktober hinein verlängert und jeden Tag genossen. Dank des unglaublichen Panoramas ist schon der erste Kaffee am Morgen ein entspannendes Highlight. Im Haus ist alles so wie fotografiert und beschrieben. Die Betreuung durch Ciro und Andrea war super. An dem einzigen Regentag hat der Warmwasserboiler wahrscheinlich etwas zu viel Regenwasser abbekommen und das Thermostat streikte. Ein Anruf und noch am selben Nachmittag war alles repariert und funktionierte wieder einwandfrei. Der Ort ist in der Nachsaison ruhig, der Strand herrlich und das Meer hat die perfekte Temperatur zum Baden. Wir haben sogar - eher untypisch für uns - viel Zeit mit Lesen auf der Dachterrasse verbracht, weil es so schön ist, einfach nur von dort oben das Meer rauschen zu hören und die Sonne zu genießen. Ein perfekter Urlaub! Vielen Dank für alles.

Ruhiges Urlaubsnest über Balestrate

Hier hatten meine Frau und ich zwei Wochen lang unser Urlaubsnest. Die Lage ist ruhig mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf die Bucht von Castellamare. Und dennoch nicht entlegen - zu Fuß sind es 15-20 Minuten ins Ortszentrum und man ist schnell auf der Autobahn bzw. auf der Straße Richtung Castellamare (wobei kein störender Verkehr wahrzunehmen ist). Die Ausstattung selbst ist einfach, aber es ist alles vorhanden - wir haben uns ausschließlich selbst versorgt - so schön waren die Abende hier oben, so dass wir nach unseren Unternehmungen tagsüber einfach nicht mehr weg wollten. Zu guter Letzt sind die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit hervorzuheben, der wir hier begegnet sind - Ciro (Verwalter) und Andrea (Vermieter) waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit - die Organisation hat reibungslos funktioniert, und deutsch ist kein Problem.
