It is only a few steps to the beautiful sandy beach from here. The Wadden Sea and the island nature are also a special experience outside the bathing season. In spring and autumn the island serves as a resting place for several million migratory birds. Experience the phenomenon of the ?black sun? when huge flocks of starlings almost eclipse the sun, visit the seals at Mandø in a tractor bus or take part in an oyster safari.
