This property was great and as advertised Really clean with good amenities Check in and communication with the host was easy Would definately stay there again
The property is very roomy and very well maintained. It was very clean, setup for large groups with plenty of dinnerware and cups and was very comfortable. Karen is a great host and would recommend staying at The Gathering Place.
Great location close to downtown, major highways, and attractions but still in a quiet residential neighborhood. Plenty of space to sleep lots of people. All the amenities you might need while traveling with small children.

Thanks so much for staying at The Gathering Place! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! It is our hope that all who stay there find a comfortable peaceful place to gather with family and friends.
The grandkids loved the well stocked toys, books, games, movies, and 'the cave'! They were tickled to find a 'hidden room'. That will be so fun when it is finished. We enjoyed the little bits of history that have been retained, even though the home has been remodeled; some of the original wood floors, old brick, and the arched doorways. Don't ever let anyone convince you to get rid of, or hide, those features! The front porch solarium is nice, as is the covered cabana and BBQ in the back. The kitchen was wonderful, and we had plenty of room. We were advised not to overload the power, but we did, once. Having to visit the breaker box was not a problem. We did hope to be able to get a wheelchair in, but the few steps prevented that. A future improvement would be to build a ramp to the back door closest to the driveway. Being ADA would expand your visitor options. Thank you so much for having us!
This home was perfect for our family. Centrally located to everything. We were 5-10 min from the Dinosaur Museum, super fun Unintah Rec Center, Diamond Racetrack, Steineker Reservoir and delicious Swain Brothers steakhouse, all so fun and amazing. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed and lots of extras, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash in bathrooms, laundry soap, ziplocs, foil, even parchment paper for our cinnamon rolls, plenty of nice dishes, silverware, pots/pans, serving dishes, etc. Huge DVD collection, books for kids of all ages, toys, games, ride on toys in backyard and awesome patio to enjoy morning coffee, or star gazing in evening. We had our 1 yr. old grandson and there was porta crib, high chair, baby/toddler dishes and silverware, baby toys/books, even bibs. Just a lot of nice touches. We will definitely be back. Karen was very attentive and gave los of great suggestions as well.
This place was perfect for our needs. The yard was my favorite part of the stay. It was a great gathering place for our large family. Thank you for sharing your home!!
