Both the pool and pier were private which was nice. We caught several fish off the pier (Black Drum, Croaker, catfish) and several kids caught their very first fish. The pool was a nice getaway for both kids and adults. Water as a little cold but very clean. Sitting areas and bay view was wonderful and relaxing. Kitchen was huge and spacious which we loved. Host Dawn answered all my questions and in a very timely manner. The whole family loved the get-away and quality time together!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bayfront property. The home itself is gorgeous — extremely spacious, well‑designed, and easily accommodated all six of us. The large kitchen and open living area were a highlight, especially with the full wall of windows overlooking the deck, the water, and the fishing piers. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to slow down and simply enjoy being there.A couple of things could make the experience even better. Because the windows have no coverings, the natural light creates a strong glare on the living‑room TV during the day, making it difficult to watch anything. Mounting the TV on the adjacent wall or adding window coverings would solve this. Also, the master bedroom stayed noticeably warmer than the rest of the house, so my wife and I chose to sleep in another room for comfort.We loved having access to the fishing pier, but the lighting at night was a bit dim. Adding at least one brighter white light would make it easier to see your catch or rig your poles.Even with these small issues, the property was truly amazing. Every time we finished an outing or meal out, we looked forward to returning to the house. It made our trip feel relaxing, fun, and memorable.

Family Getaway

The house was beautiful and everything we could have wanted for a family gathering. We had 13 people and there was plenty of room. Plenty of hot water! We had washer going and people showering at the same time with no problem. The kids had the best time going from swimming in the pool to fishing on the pier and back again. Would highly recommend.

A good time was had by all!

14 members of my family, including for teens and for preteens, had a great time at your place. The Fishing was OK, not great. The swimming pool was a big hit, especially in the heat of the day. The large living room and kitchen served our purposes well. Plenty of room to play games and enjoy meals together. It was especially nice to have five bedrooms, because escape from the noise was doable.Not a problem to go to town. A well stocked HEB was near enough to get the ice cream home before it melted. Tackle town, a popular tackle shop, had everything we need for Fishing. Highly recommend Flemming’s bait stand in the Rockport Harbor.Had a problem with a door handle falling off, and Dawn had it fixed within eight hours. Plenty of dishes, utensils, and glasses.We will be back again, in the future.

This house was perfect, it was spacious and great place to stay. We caught 6 big keeper fish on the pier. My kids loved the rooms they stayed in. I definitely will be renting this place again.
