Rudkøbing is located right by the bridge that provides access to the island of Langeland. Admire the picturesque houses, market squares and cobbled streets of the town of Rudkøbing and go on other excursions around the island. Langeland is one of Denmark's most popular holiday destinations. Here you will find marvellous child-friendly beaches where the whole family can splash around. The enchanting nature is famous for its beauty, which you can experience on long, refreshing walks or bike rides. The coast, the sea and the many put-and-take lakes in the area offer good fishing opportunities. You can also go on a short cruise in the South Funen archipelago on one of the historic wooden ships.
