The Goldbachmühle is located in Überlingen-Goldbach—in a particularly quiet, green setting and only about 400 metres from the Uferpark and the Sylvesterkapelle Goldbach. Guests can use the lake access in the nearby Uferpark free of charge. The city centre area of Überlingen is about a 20-minute walk away via the promenade. The Bodenseetherme and the Strandbad West are about 800 m from the property.
The Goldbachmühle, a listed historic building, dates back to the 19th century and is one of the last intact mills in the Lake Constance district. The authentic charm of the historic structure has been preserved, while the interior has been adapted to meet today’s standards of comfort. The Goldbachmühle was carefully restored to preserve the mill’s historical features. Because it has been preserved almost in its entirety, this cultural monument vividly illustrates how the building, living and work spaces, milling technology, and hydraulic engineering form a historically functional unit. The mill machinery was extensively restored and upgraded in 2006 and 2007.
