POWER: At TIMES, we operate with a limited power supply. Electrical appliances may operate at a lower efficiency than you're used to at home. We ask guests to be conservative in their power usage to ensure a smooth experience. What this means is that you shouldn't have multiple lights/items running at the same time. In the case of no power or an act of God, we have a backup generator we will hook up.
INDOOR COOKING: Indoor stove-top cooking is not permitted. Outdoor cooking options include the propane BBQ (with side burner) and the fire pit.
LOFT ACCESS: The loft area is not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility concerns. By booking, you agree to our safety and liability policies.
SURROUNDINGS: Our 40-acre forest property may have other guests staying in separate cabins, but each space is thoughtfully placed to provide privacy. Your tiny home area and amenities are for your exclusive use only.
Please DO NOT wander off the property path, especially onto neighbouring properties or other tiny homes (other than the one you booked), as this is considered trespassing and is a serious violation. Stay on the path leading to and from your designated booking area.
ROAD: The access road is unpaved — please drive slowly and carefully. We recommend 4x4 in winter but have parking available at the front of the property as well.
WIFI & CELLPHONE SERVICE: Limited or no cell service (especially Telus, Rogers, and Fido) Wi-Fi available for messaging and calls (FaceTime etc).
By booking this Tiny House, you’re choosing a stay that is deeply connected to nature — quiet, serene, and intentionally simple. This isn’t just a getaway; it’s a chance to slow down, breathe, and savor the present moment.
WINTER CONDITIONS: When booking during winter time, please note there MAY be a chance that the water freezes.
SURROUNDINGS: Because we are located in a rural area, you may occasionally hear distant outdoor activity from neighbouring properties. Hunting may occur at certain times of the year (not on the property).
