Rustic Charm on Private Cove - Boat Ramp and Dock

Escape to Lake Gaston in this craftsman cabin in the prime Pigeonroost/Songbird Creek area, perfect for water sports. This 3BR/2BA home features hand-scraped beams, custom barn doors, and a brick fireplace. Enjoy water views from the wide deck or head down to your private dock. Set on a wide cove (10ft in center) over a flat lot, it’s ideal for swimming and kayaking.

Make the most of our private launch! Feel free to bring your own water toys (jet skis, boats, etc) to enjoy the water at your own pace. We will provide life vests in various sizes, a canoe, and a kayak for your enjoyment. Whether you're relaxing in the loft or launching a boat, this home delivers a fantastic experience.

Larger boats may not clear the ramp and could also be influenced by water levels. If so, free public ramps are available in the area.

There is a tunnel/culvert to enter the main lake from our dock. The tunnel is approximately 9.5' wide and the clearance sits approximately 6-6.5' above the water line.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The water was perfect, and one of our favorite features was how shallow it was at the dock. The kids were able to safely stand, splash, and play in the water for hours, which made for so many great memories. The loft was a wonderful space for the kids to relax, play games, and have their own area to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and to grill outside, making our stay even more comfortable. The home itself is cozy and welcoming. We especially loved the barn doors and the charming lake house feel throughout. It’s clear that the owners have put a great deal of thought into creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for their guests. Thank you for the care you take in maintaining your home and for all the thoughtful details that made our stay so special. We would happily stay here again!
