Put down your bags. Whether in the living room, bedroom, or on the terrace, enjoy the captivating lake view. Make yourself at home. Cook your favourite meal, fire up the grill, watch your favourite TV show, or play your own music. Or curl up for an afternoon nap on the cosy box-spring bed.
 
Krakow am See is a small, historic town nestled in the heart of a wonderful—and partly nature-protected—lake landscape teeming with a variety of waterfowl and fish. The holiday home on the lakeside promenade is close to both the city and nature. The lakeside path right outside the door invites you to take walks and bike rides and leads to Mecklenburg’s oldest swimming facility. At the dock across the way, you can head out onto the water.
 
In just a few minutes, you can reach the historic church and market square with its charming town hall and the old Cistercian church, as well as two restaurants and a café. The tourist information office is also located there. The Old Town also features one of the few freestanding, fully preserved Old Synagogues—a venue for many cultural events—as well as a printing museum. A library, supermarkets, doctors’ offices, and pharmacies are also within walking distance.
Transport: The bus station connects Krakow am See with Güstrow. From there, the S-Bahn runs to Rostock and Warnemünde, and various regional trains offer trips to nearby destinations and connections to Hamburg and Berlin. The best way to reach Krakow am See by car is via the A19.



SeePromenade Holiday Home:

This holiday home, newly built in 2022 with a fantastic lake view, offers every comfort for a relaxing holiday. You can drive right up to the front door to unload and step out without getting your feet wet. Afterwards, you can park your vehicle in the on-site car park. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed. The garden, terraces, and the ground floor of the house are all accessible without any steps.
You can charge your electric car at a wall box (11 kW, Type 2 with cable) on the property.

The front door leads into the entryway with a staircase. From there, head towards the lake to enter the living room, where you’ll find the dining table, a cosy sofa, and a fully equipped kitchenette, including an oven and dishwasher. The large sliding glass door opens onto the terrace. From the living room and terrace, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the lake.
Would you like to freshen up first? Right to your left is the bathroom with a toilet, a spacious sink, a walk-in shower with no steps, storage space, counter space, and a window for ventilation. In the summer, the bathroom radiator can be turned on separately using electricity.

A sturdy wooden staircase leads to the upper floor
There, on the lake side, is the bedroom with a modern box-spring bed (1.80 x 2 metres) and two recliners. From here, too, you can enjoy the lake view through two French windows. Another floor-to-ceiling window lets in the morning sun, or you can pull down the light-blocking sunshade. The bedroom features a chest of drawers with several drawers, and at the top of the staircase is a large, spacious closet.
Opposite the bedroom is a small second bathroom with a toilet, sink, washing machine, and dryer. A storage closet behind it holds cleaning supplies and detergents. That’s also where our heating system is located, which provides cosy underfoot warmth and a comfortable living temperature during the cold season—you can adjust the temperature individually in each room.

Music and TV
A flat-screen TV with a satellite dish, a stereo system, some reading material, and a collection of games provide entertainment and variety. With the stereo system, you can play your own music via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or a USB drive, stream music from your favourite services, or tune in to your favourite stations on Internet radio.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and check-out is available from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
