The Tannenhausen recreational area is about 10 km away and is known for its beautiful swimming lake with a café and bar right on the beach, as well as other recreational activities such as wakeboarding. The North Sea coast is also not far away by car. There, you can enjoy excursions to the East Frisian Islands and mudflat hikes, among other activities.
