Great little place for a couple or one person. Parking is easy, the property is very clean and well kept, and the host is very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place.

The Casita is a wonderful spot to stay in Abilene! It is clean, comfortable, and smartly decorated, so much nicer than any hotel stay! The Casita has the regional feel and is in a very quiet and secure area, so much so that I enjoyed a morning and late evening walk every day. There is also a nice sitting area outdoors for morning coffee. I especially was touched by the kindness of the owners, Rebel and Clint, who made my stay feel very welcoming. I have family in the area and plan to make this my regular stay.

It’s a nice “casita,” in that it’s a storage building converted to a living quarters. It’s very nice. The walkway and driveway leave a lot to be desired if it rains, and a 3 point turn in a Honda accord becomes a 6 point turn in a full size pickup truck. I recommend backing all the way down the driveway accordingly. The owner is very nice and the place is quiet and peaceful. It’s still a very fair price considering the quiet and secluded stay. It’s a bit of a jaunt from the town, but that suited us just fine.

Thank you for your review John. I want to be clear. It is not a storage building. It is a completely custom, framed out and built from the bottom up home. We try to be very transparent that it is a home in a more rustic setting and let our guests know about the walkway and the driveway upfront. We have several repeat guests that drive pick ups and have no problem with the turnaround so I apologize if it was difficult for you. We hope you enjoyed your stay in spite of the rain and will come again.

Absolutely LOVED this little house. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Rebel is the best host. She is super accommodating with any needs and has great communication. Loved the location. Its in such a cute, quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are great too. Loves being able to sit out on the little patio and drink some coffee, and relax in the evening. My 12 year old daughter walked in and immediately feel in love with it. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would love to book again if ever in the area again. Thank you Rebel for being such an amazing host.

We traveled to Abilene to watch our daughter’s soccer games and had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were perfect, comfortable, exactly as described, and conveniently located near the universities and local restaurants. We highly recommend Belle’s Chicken and Perini Ranch Steakhouse!

The Casita was absolutely first class.the owners put a lot of time in putting this rental together. It was decorated so well and comfortable and had a beautiful kitchenette, bathroom, bedding, sitting area large TV all spectacular!! Yikes this was really nice!
