If you like rustic and being out in northern Michigan this place is for you. It was kind of confusing to get there, but Robinson’s instructions were pretty clear. It was nice being on the lake, very peaceful and tranquil. Everything was clean and we loved the three seasons room to play cards and look out at the lake. We used the fire pit until the mosquitos came out so thankful there was some firewood for us to use. . The loft with the bedrooms was great having the AC and we didn’t even miss not having a TV. The only downfall was the shower. It was quite tricky to get underneath the water so that would be the only recommendation to fix the showerhead so that it sprays directly down. Robin was a great communicator and we really appreciated having a place to stay for a couple of nights while we rented a boat for the lake. Thanks again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, time on the water and away from the commotion of our day-to-day. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I should emphasize a couple of things in addition to the description. It is quite a ways into the woods and away from grocery stores, so being prepared to have those unexpected or last-minute needs is important. If you are coming to stay on the lake and use a boat, it is across the lake from the boat launch and about 25 minutes to get there. While they did have a seawall you could tie up to, it didn’t really work for our boat, so there was a lot of trailering. This is not a negative, just something to consider. We loved it and would definitely stay again.
