Location of the holiday rental
The holiday rental is centrally located in Graal-Müritz, yet in a quiet area on a side street. The beach is 350 metres away. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment, you’ll find restaurants, shops, a beach bar, and the pier. The beach features bathrooms, snack stands, playground equipment, and beach chair rentals. Even outside the swimming season and when the weather isn’t so nice, Graal-Müritz is an excellent destination for cycling and hiking. The Darß Peninsula, Bodden Bay, and Warnemünde are easily accessible via separate bike paths. A bike ride or hike through the magnificent Rostock Heath is a true experience in every season. As a nature lover, you should definitely take an independent or guided moor hike through the raised bog located east of the town. In town, you’ll find the Kurwald and the Rhododendron Park. The future of the Aquadrom is unclear at the moment; a fresh start is planned. As alternatives for swimming, we recommend the Boddentherme in Ribnitz-Damgarten (11 km) and the aja Resort in Warnemünde (20 km). The cultural offerings are diverse (Concert shell at the pier; concert pavilion in the Rhododendron Park; poetry readings; theatre performances; readings and cabaret events at the Tourismus- und Kur GmbH). There’s something for all age groups; even for younger children, the “Ostseekaspar” visits every week in the summer.
Major events (Rhododendron Park Festival, Pier Festival, Moor Festival, Festival of Lights in the Park) round out the offerings. Excursions to the surrounding area (Marlow Bird Park, Karls Erlebnisdorf, the ports of Dierhagen and Wustrow with boat rentals on the Bodden, the Rostock Heath Nature Trail, Warnemünde with regular calls by cruise ships, Rostock Zoo, and the Ozeaneum in Stralsund) are just a few examples. You should definitely plan a day trip to Denmark by ferry from Rostock. We recommend visiting the Nykobing Medieval Centre or the Knuthenborg Safari Park.

Additional information on apartment amenities:
The apartment is designed for 3 people as a family, 3 teenagers, or 2 adults with a small child. There is also a small computer workstation. The balcony faces south and is partially covered (sun until about 1:30 p.m.).

You can rent bed linens for €10.00 per arrival and person, including bed-making by the host. Alternatively, you can bring your own bed linens.
