Welcome to Chapel Street Chalet, our cozy mountain retreat at the base of Cathedral Ledge. Bring your family, friends, and pets for lake days, ski weekends, colorful fall hikes, or a little time to slow down. Downtown North Conway and Cranmore Mountain are only 5 minutes away by car, while Echo Lake State Park is only a 15-minute walk away.

Start your morning with coffee on the tree-lined deck, then decide where the day takes you. Head out for nearby hiking and climbing, explore North Conway’s shops and restaurants, or spend the afternoon at the lake. Back home, cook dinner together, settle beside the wood-burning fireplace, or gather around the outdoor fire pit with s'mores.

Inside, knotty-pine walls and rustic beams give the chalet its warm mountain character. Three bedrooms offer one king bed and two queen beds, with a living-room sleeper sofa accommodating guests seven and eight. The home has one full bathroom and one half bathroom.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range, granite countertops, and a dishwasher, making everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners easy. High-speed WiFi, Roku TV with live streaming channels and streaming apps, air conditioning, propane heat, and in-home laundry provide everyday comfort. Driveway parking keeps coming and going simple.

It is a perfect vacation stay for us. It is close to everything we want to do, and very quiet when we are back. The house is well equipped for everything we need. We will love to stay again if the price stays in our range.

This cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was convenient to downtown North Conway and our favorite hiking trails- Diana's Baths and Echo Lake/Cathedral Ledge. If you don't want to walk through the woods, you could literally walk up the road a few miles to the top of Cathedral Ledge. Mt. Cranmore is less than a 10 minute drive. I think the space would have been a bit tight for a larger group, especially with only 1 shower. But for the two of us, it was perfect.

Hi, we’re Austin and Evan. We’ve been close friends since college and have spent years enjoying everything the White Mountains have to offer. From snowboarding and hiking to exploring North Conway and spending weekends at the lake, the mountains have always been one of our favorite places to escape to.

A few years ago, we started talking about owning a place in the White Mountains where our families could create memories for years to come. When this chalet became available, it felt like the perfect fit. Today, Austin and his wife Hannah, along with Evan and his wife Kayla, are excited to share this special property with guests from near and far.

We fell in love with the location near Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge and are committed to preserving the charm that has made it such a special place for so many guests over the years. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, and memorable mountain getaway while making thoughtful improvements along the way.

Whether you’re here to ski, hike, swim, enjoy the fall foliage, or simply relax by the fireplace, we hope you enjoy the chalet as much as our families do.
