We loooved this cabin! The wooden vibe and the trees lining the property make it feel like true “up north”. THIS is an up north cabin you don’t want to miss out on! Our kids loved it, our dogs loved it, and we had so much fun!

Very clean pet friendly place. Property was clean. Just feel it was a little too overpriced for what we got. Very nice location being close to Gates Lodge and the town of Grayling. Very retro cabin feel, which was cool. If price was lower, we would stay again.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of the cabin, our pet-friendly accommodations, the retro cabin charm, and our convenient location near Gates Lodge and downtown Grayling. We work hard to create a comfortable experience for our guests and to include little extras that make a stay more enjoyable, including complimentary firewood, coffee, paper products, and access to our kayaks and tubes, along with four acres to explore and the Au Sable’s Holy Waters just a short walk away. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and would love to welcome you back in the future.

Having 2 dogs, 1 being a mastiff, it was so nice to find a place that doesn't have a ridiculous weight limit on them! And there is plenty of yard space to stretch legs and play without having to be leashed -depending on your dogs obedience of course!

I love this! We have a lab english bulldog mix who weighs 80lbs. She is well behaved, but it’s so hard to find places that allow bigger dogs. I didnt want to put a size limit because its not fair to our bigger babies! Im so glad you all got to enjoy yourselves! Come back any time!

If you want a place to bring back all the nostalgic vibes of up north as a kid, this is your place! A cozy vintage cabin with everything you need inside and out. Tucked down a tree lined drive to a lovely wooded yard with a grill and big fire pit. Outside the river is a short walk away, along with some nice trails to explore. Town is only a short ride away and there are wonderful restaurants to try if you want to take a break from the grill. This truly is a special place that we surely will visit again. Hostess, Amber is quick to respond, helpful, and thoughtful. Be sure to read her family's beautiful story in the cabin book!! 10 out of 10!!

We had the honor to be their firsts guest! And what an amazing little cabin in the woods it was! Perfect for our family and 2 dogs. The cabin felt like the perfect home away from home. Serene country setting with the best river in Michigan just down the road. Only 6 minutes to two different lakes with a beautiful beach or fishing. They also had kayaks and tubes for us to use. Hosts were great at communicating and very accommodating. They really did think of everything to make your stay more enjoyable. We will definitely be back very soon!
