We had a great time at our stay here! The house was clean, not too big and nicely laid out. We loved the balcony in the back in the mornings and the covered porch in the front, especially for sunset evenings or on rainy days.The pool was great - the size was perfect, the water temperature right and the fence around it created the necessary privacy. The hot tub was working well and the open sky right above made for many nice star gazing nights. We also loved the fact that we had our own yard which created privacy from other homes. We really loved the outdoor shower and even outdoor toilet! We were also positively surprised about there being no mosquitos during our entire stay as the covered porch is not screened (better views).We also really loved the location. A lovely walk to the beach through the bushes made for easy beach access and the beach was never really crowded. The house is conveniently located between the busier side of Kitty Hawk and Duck, both of which made for close and good daily trips.Communication with the host was easy. They responded quickly and friendly and all our questions were answered.The only thing we wished would have been more closed off is the main road right in front of the property. While it makes for easy and fast access to many locations, it is quite a busy road and the house is not completely blocked from the view or the noise. However, we felt that all other aspects of this house were right and made up for it. We made great memories here!
