This fabulous little renovated farmhouse sits on a couple of acres in Millwood, Virginia. Nice fully equipped kitchen & newly tiled bath w/shower. Great front porch w/ swing & rear deck for grilling and fire pit. The property sits amidst the beautiful, rolling hills and horse country of the Shenandoah Valley and the Appalachian trail, while a convenient short drive from Washington D.C. and its surrounding cities.
(Please note: there is room for horse trailers at the property. Should you need to park one for a horse show.)
Watch deer leap through fields as the sun sets and horses graze from your front porch swing, or drive into the city to see the Cherry Blossoms and take in a museum. The local scene will not disappoint. Visit the Brewery in White Post that grows its own barely, take tours of the many local vineyards, tube down the Shenandoah River at Watermelon Park, or take in a show at The Barns of Rose Hill or Shenandoah University summer theater.
Foodies will love this area! There are fabulous restaurants from within 15 minutes of our home. Whether you are looking for Ethnic foods, a high class restaurant or down home cooking, there is no end to the options for eating out here.
Just down the street a mile or so is the Old Burwell Morgan Mill, one of the last in use water powered mills in the United States. Enjoy the idyllic picnic area among the willow trees with cuisine from Locke Store. (Gourmet country store with local food and wine.)

I could not have been happy with my choice of places to stay. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day at the horse show. It was so peaceful. Looking forward to staying there again next year!
