About this property
Antler Ridge Hideaway
Summary:
Mountain home with hot tub, deck, pool table, WiFi - stunning view
The Space:
That deck! That view! If you’re looking for a secluded mountainside retreat with an absolutely jaw-dropping mountain view, you’ve found it with the gorgeous three-bedroom Antler Ridge Hideaway. Spend the morning sipping coffee on the porch swing or in a rocking chair on your screened-in porch, and then spend the afternoon on the massive deck downstairs, taking in the view while you relax on the outdoor couch and soak in your private hot tub.
Inside, you’ll find lots of knotty pine and cozy cabin decor. The well-equipped kitchen features a full set of stainless steel appliances and a dining table for six, though you’ll probably want to dine alfresco on the deck. The cozy living room is the perfect place to snuggle up in front of the gas fireplace and stream a movie or play a board game. If you’ve got any remote work to catch up on, there’s an office nook in the main bedroom suite – but you’ll probably be too distracted by the view. Downstairs, you’ll find another family room with a TV, dry bar, a gas fireplace, and a pool table, perfect for a friendly game.
When you’re ready to explore, this home sits right on the Benton MacKaye Trail. The Appalachian Trail, apple orchards, waterfalls, river tubing, and kayaking are all nearby as well. At the end of the day, fire up the gas grill and play a game of corn hole while night falls. An evening of conversation around the fire pit, another soak in the hot tub, and a game of pool cap off a perfect mountain day – with another to come tomorrow.

Do not recommend. View was beautiful. However, there were roaches all in the kitchen and bathrooms. We even had one in the coffee pot and the refrigerator. Also, while in town one afternoon, someone came to get the trash out of the can and they stole an expensive cooler we had sitting on the steps to the deck.
The cabin was very clean. The road to the cabin was a little challenging with the rain. Overall it was a great place to stay. Great Mountain View’s.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
The cabin had a beautiful view and was clean. The only drawbacks were that the grill didn’t work (never got hot enough to cook the meat done), the hot tub water looked brown/discolored, and the road to the cabin was very scary (one tiny lane).

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful view and found the cabin clean. We’re very sorry to hear about the condition of the hot tub and the grill during your stay. These amenities are meant to enhance the guest experience, and it’s disappointing that they did not meet expectations. We’ve addressed cleaning standards with our staff to ensure the hot tub is properly maintained and thoroughly cleaned between each guest. The grill is also being inspected and serviced to resolve the heating issue so it performs as expected moving forward. We understand how both of these issues impacted your stay, especially when planning a meal and hoping to enjoy the hot tub. That’s certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and we truly appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Regarding the road, we understand that the single-lane approach can feel challenging for some guests. We include this detail in the listing to help future visitors plan accordingly. Thank you again for your thoughtful review.

Great views and secluded location.
We enjoyed our stay at this mountain cabin. Vacasa was very responsive to all our questions, even late at night. Only complaint was the check in time was later than most places (4:00pm) and check out was earlier than most places (10:00am). Getting to the cabin was a little challenging when it rained during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, Bobby! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at the mountain cabin and appreciated our responsiveness; that means a lot to us.
We understand that the check-in and check-out times were a minor inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to balance the needs of all our guests and local teams. We also empathize with the challenge of accessing the cabin during the rain; mountain weather can certainly add an extra layer of adventure!
We truly appreciate your willingness to stay with us again, and we look forward to hosting you for another memorable getaway in the future.
