Welcome to our comfortable holiday rental at “Haus Dornbusch” on Rügen. With its unique location on a steep cliffside offering a magnificent panoramic view, your holiday is sure to be relaxing!

Even while enjoying your holiday breakfast, you can take in a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea from the dining area by the window! Coffee and warm rolls can be easily prepared in the modern kitchenette, as can snacks for your upcoming hike or a hearty dinner in the evening. (The oven can also be used as a microwave.)

For cosy moments of relaxation, the living room is equipped with a couch, a TV, and a radio, among other amenities. This way, you can watch films or listen to music in peace. You’ll have free Wi-Fi for browsing on your smartphone.

Or you can relax and enjoy the refreshing Baltic Sea air! The idyllic, natural garden behind the apartment, complete with comfortable outdoor furniture, invites you to unwind. From here, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the South Beach and Thiessow Beach, the offshore islands of Greifswalder Oie and Ruden, and the Zickerschen Mountains. Thanks to the shepherd living next door, you can also spot sheep grazing in the surrounding meadows. (There is no grill provided for the holiday rental. Please exercise extreme caution in the summer: high fire risk due to dry conditions.)

When the sun sets on Rügen, a comfortable double bed (2 x 1 m x 2 m) awaits you in the separate bedroom. The bedding is filled with hypoallergenic hollow-fiber polyester.

The well-maintained, naturally lit bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet rounds out the living comfort.

General Information: The holiday rental is accessible only via an unpaved private road. There is parking available for guests here, but no room to turn around (see photo). We ask that you use the designated parking spot right next to the wall and park as close to the wall as possible. Ideally, drive up the dirt road in reverse. The dirt road, as an access route, is not part of the property. We therefore cannot guarantee that the vegetation along the sides will be optimally trimmed. Be careful to avoid paint damage. For all winter guests: There are no snow removal services for the dirt road or the area in front of the house.
If any of the sheep wander onto the property, please do not try to catch them yourself; instead, call the WFV (038393 - 31532). Bicycles can be parked in the courtyard. A cot and high chair are available for optional rental. Pets are not allowed.

The centre of the Baltic Sea resort town of Göhren is just a 5-minute walk away. Small shops, cafés, and restaurants invite you to stroll and take a break. The same goes for the beautiful Bernstein Promenade, which is about a 20-minute walk away.
The North Beach is located right near your holiday rental (about a 10-minute walk), while the South Beach is about 20 minutes away.
