Summary:

Walk a quarter-mile to Kings' Shops for coffee or the weekly farmers market, then come back to watch the 14th fairway from your shaded lanai. This garden-level Waikoloa Fairway Villas condo sleeps four in two bedrooms and brings the golf course right to the edge of your stay. The community pool, hot tub, grills, and open-air fitness center are just across the parking lot, so a low-key afternoon is easy. After a beach or golf day, cool down with air conditioning, make dinner in the full kitchen, and let the kids choose a movie or the Xbox 360. Waikoloa Beach Golf Course is less than a mile away, and A-Bay is close for a sandy sunset. It is a practical, fun base for a small family or two couples who want to be near the action without giving up a quiet lanai.



The Space:

This garden-level condo opens to a shaded lanai at the edge of the 14th fairway, giving the living space a close-up green view. Two bedrooms and two baths sleep four in a layout that feels simple and well placed.

Kings' Shops is only a quarter-mile south for restaurants, coffee, and the weekly farmers market, while Anaeho'omalu Bay is nearby for a beach day or sunset walk. The Waikoloa Beach Golf Course is less than a mile away, and the Kohala Coast's lava fields and fishponds make even a short drive scenic. Getting Around:

Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.

The condo was very comfortable and the VRBO company so easy and pleasant to work with. We loved our stay overlooking the golf course and proximity to eateries and shopping and only a couple blocks from great beaches.

Floors are thin

Communication with host was excellent. Location was excellent. Floors are paper thin so be careful if you get a bottom unit. Anyone walking above you will be super loud. King bed is old and sloped, host should replace. Towels could be replaced. Vents need to be replaced, rusted. Pool and hot tub were great. Door keypad was convenient, don’t need a physical key. Only have 1 parking spot. Washing machine and dishwasher were useless, didn’t get anything clean. Provided a blender and cooler which was nice. If you don’t want a lot of noise then get an upper unit.

Beautiful Area

Absolutely loved the area! Beautiful grounds, walking distance to restaurants, shops & beach! The condo is spacious, clean & quiet, has a fully stocked kitchen, nice pool and a fabulous lanai overlooking the golf course! Yes, it’s dated and could use some painting & updating but that’s easy to overlook when you’re enjoying Hawaii life!
