Welcome to our private mountain retreat, where Alaska's wilderness is right outside your door and the comforts of home are waiting inside.
Nestled in the peaceful mountains of Anchorage, our handcrafted mountain-modern retreat offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Here you'll enjoy the quiet beauty of nature while being just minutes from restaurants, shopping, museums, golf courses, and many of Anchorage's most popular attractions.
One of the things that makes our retreat truly unique is the setting. You can literally step outside the front door and head out for a walk or hike. The Alaska Botanical Garden is just at the bottom of the hill, and wildlife frequently wanders through the property. During your stay, you may see bears, moose, foxes, porcupines, squirrels, birds, and plenty of bunnies—a true Alaska experience.
Inside, you'll discover a space filled with handcrafted details that tell a story. We personally built the barn doors, floating kitchen shelves, bathroom vanity, and entry bench. The log end tables were made from trees harvested from our own property, and the beautiful live-edge birch window sills came from a friend's property here in Alaska.
The walls are decorated with photographs we've taken while exploring Alaska's incredible landscapes. If one of the images captures your heart, canvas prints are available and can be shipped directly to your home as a lasting reminder of your trip.
After a day of exploring, relax on the heated concrete floors, enjoy the spa-like warmth of the heated bathroom floor, curl up in one of the robes we've provided, or settle in with your favorite movie using the Fire TV. Start each morning with a fresh cup of coffee from the coffee bar featuring a Keurig, milk frother, coffee pods, creamer, and sugar.
We've stocked the retreat with thoughtful extras including games, a yoga mat, hand weights, a suitcase stand, washer and dryer, starter laundry supplies, dishwasher pods, paper products, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a selection of Alaska seasonings to help make your stay comfortable from the moment you arrive.
Our location makes it easy to enjoy everything Anchorage has to offer, including the Alaska Botanical Garden, Alaska Zoo, Anchorage Museum, Alaska Aviation Museum, Alaska Railroad, Moose's Tooth Pizza, South Restaurant + Coffeehouse, Southside Bistro, Spenard Roadhouse, O'Malley Golf Course, Moose Run Golf Course, and so much more.
Whether you're visiting Alaska for adventure, business, or simply a chance to reconnect with nature, we hope you'll feel at home here. We built this retreat with care, filled it with pieces of Alaska we love, and hope your stay leaves you with unforgettable memories and a little piece of Alaska in your heart.
We look forward to welcoming you!
