Welcome to the NaturReich holiday rental in Prien am Chiemsee—a spacious, high-end holiday rental with 104 m² of living space for up to 5 people—dogs are also welcome. The apartment offers plenty of space to relax and unwind: two separate bedrooms, a large living and dining area, two sunny terraces, and a fully fenced-in garden. Hardwood floors, a three-sided glass fireplace, a massage chair, and many thoughtful touches create a pleasant living atmosphere. Its location between the centre of Prien (approx. 900 m) and the Chiemsee beach in Schafwaschener Bay makes the holiday apartment an ideal starting point for biking and hiking tours as well as excursions around Lake Chiemsee. The lake is about 1.5 to 2 km away and can be reached in about 15–20 minutes on foot. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. The fenced-in garden offers additional comfort. Pet owner third-party insurance is required. The house underwent a comprehensive energy-efficiency renovation in 2023: ✔️ Pellet heating ✔️ Modern thermal insulation ✔️ Electricity from Naturstrom ✔️ Water-saving systems and consistent waste separation. Discover the Chiemgau: History & Culture Take a boat ride to Herreninsel, home to Herrenchiemsee Palace, the Old Palace, and the Augustinian Canons’ Monastery. It was here in 1948 that the key foundations for the German Basic Law were drafted. On Fraueninsel, you’ll find the Frauenwörth Monastery with its monastery shop, fishermen’s cottages, artists, and restaurants. Nature & Activities: Jump right onto the Chiemsee Bike Trail or explore the Kampenwand and the Kendlmühlfilzen moorland hiking trail. Experience Chiemsee You can go swimming in Schafwaschener Bay. From there or from the “Polizei-Steg,” you can also explore the lake by SUP or canoe. Personal Tips: You can get “Steckerlfisch” at the Reiter Fish Hut, just a 15–20-minute walk away. For a beautiful sunset, head to the eastern shore—to the beach bar in Übersee or the lakeside terrace of the Chiemgauhof.
