Beatiful and spacious

Comfortable, spacious and beautiful apartment. The area is not the best, but this is reflected in the price of the apartment. Quiet, well soundproofed apartment.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a vacation rental. The property was falsely advertised, and the host engaged in unethical and coercive practices before allowing us to check in. About 24 hours before arrival, while we were already en route by plane, he demanded extra money for an “Austrian tourist tax,” even though the listing clearly stated there would be no additional charges. He then added 10 per day for parking. He refused to provide the door code until we paid and would only accept PayPal or a personal credit card number. We ended up paying about 85 more so he could advertise a lower price on VRBO.He also demanded passport photos for all guests and, when VRBO’s chat blocked the upload, forced me to send them via WhatsApp. The listing prominently advertised air conditioning, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. Once there, the host refused to let us use it. We had no choice but to sleep with the windows open, enduring constant loud street noise, pedestrian chatter, which also aggravated allergies. It was miserable and completely avoidable.The entire process was complicated, intimidating, and unprofessional. Another guest reported the same behavior in May 2025, yet VRBO still allows this host to operate. This ruined the first part of our trip and left us feeling trapped and misled. I now have serious doubts about VRBO’s credibility and whether they protect travelers from dishonest hosts.

Trotz mehrfacher Aufforderungen erhielten wir erst während unserer Anreise die Informationen für den Einzug in die Wohnung, wobei Ausweiskopien und Kreditkarteninformationen gefordert wurden.Eine vollständige Ausweiskopie darf nicht pauschal gefordert werden (noch dazu über Kanäle wie WhatsApp), trotzdem kamen wir dem aus leider aus Zeitdruck nach. Erhalt der Daten wurde uns indirekt bestätigt, bei der späteren Anforderung einer Löschbestätigung vom Vermieter wird dreist behauptet man hätte keine Daten von uns.Mit den Kreditkartendaten wollte man im ursprünglichen Angebot nicht ausgewiesene Kosten (eine Ortstaxe) abbuchen (wodurch die Wohnung natürlich günstiger erschien als sie ist). Daraufhin haben wir den Vertrag storniert. Nach einem Gespräch zwischen FeWo und dem Vermieter wurde „großzügigerweise“ doch noch auf die Extrakosten verzichtet, wodurch eine Stornierung unmöglich wurde. Wir waren bereits fast zuhause und mit kleinen Kindern unterwegs, weshalb wir nicht erneut anreisen wollten. Der Vermieter bestand weiterhin auf sein Geld und zeigte keine Kulanz.Zusätzlich versuchte der Vermieter mehrfach, uns zu überzeugen, bei ihm direkt zu buchen und bei FeWo zu stornieren, was klar gegen die Richtlinien verstößt.Wir mahnen hier zu erhöhter Vorsicht, und empfehlen auf eine rechtzeitige Übersendung aller relevanten Informationen zu bestehen sowie Objektbeschreibung und Rechnung genau zu prüfen und sich auf keine ungerechtfertigten Forderungen im Nachhinein einzulassen.

Convenient to public transportation

Right on the 44 tram line; check in was a bit rocky - texting passport & cc info wasn’t ideal. The apartment was nice, but a few things need maintenance - the showerhead is missing a set screw to hold it to the wall bracket, for example - but over all, a nice stay.

Liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer

Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl und haben das Ambiente genossen. Die Betten waren super bequem, sodass nach unseren Ausflügen einer Erholung nichts im Wege stand. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut,er gab uns wertvolle Tipps zu unseren Ausflügen. Vielen Dank für alles,wir werden die Unterkunft gerne weiter empfehlen.

5 Star Property Without 5 star Price!!

This place is absolutely beautiful!! Once we got our bearings the tram right downstairs took us wherever we wanted to go. I didn’t like the locking mechanism on the door. We had a very difficult time with that!! Elevator was very nice!! Overall we loved it!!
