Relax by a crystal pool, walk to your favorite restaurants and galleries, bike through the beautiful sculptures of Galleta Meadows or drive up to Julian for a day of hiking and more! You can do it all from this beautifully appointed mid-century inspired retreat right in the heart of Borrego Springs less than a half a mile from Christmas Circle in the center of town. From October to April, enjoy the local farmers market on Fridays, the Borrego Art Institute’s Art Walk the first Saturday of every month, guided hikes and stargazing in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park, ball courts at the Borrego Springs Park, shows and events at the Borrego Performing Arts Center, and so much more!

We love going out to eat and enjoy discovering culinary delights when we travel. We play tennis, hike, love touring historic sites and mid century modern homes, cook, spoil our cats and always have some home project going on.

Being a host has been a joy for us. We enjoy creating unique spaces where guests can feel right at home and can share their adventures with us. We love hosting seasoned Borrego visitors as well as introducing new visitors to Borrego to all that we love in the area. We hope guests have a unique experience and come away expressing the same joy of having been in the condo as we do when we stay there ourselves.

Why they chose this property

When we started visiting Borrego we sought out mid century architecture, as we always do. We had driven past this unique-looking complex each visit, as it is on the main street. When we saw the listing for sale, and toured the unit, it became clear to us just how valuable it’s central location to the heart of downtown is. Within a few minutes walk, we can be at restaurants, the grocery store, the library, churches, trailheads, the Borrego Art Institute, and Christmas Circle.

What makes this property unique

We admired the architecture, and thought the location was remarkable as it is the only residential development on the main strip. When we found out it was designed by notable architect Richard Zerbe, we were that much more intrigued.
