Kinderhaus Loft in Chatham, NY

Kinderhaus Loft is on the 3rd floor accessed via an exterior stair case with a deck where you can enjoy views of the gardens & stars. There are lounge chairs and a grill for you to enjoy. The loft is in the center of the Village. You can walk to restaurants, shops, & the Crandall Theatre. You are within a mile of PS21 and MacHaydn Theater. You can also explore Hudson 12 miles away, Kinderhook 6 miles away & the Berkshires are 20-30 miles away. Close to hiking, skiing, theater & the arts.

The property consists of a spacious deck that you can grill, eat, lounge and stargaze on. You enter through a sliding glass door into a cathedral ceilinged living room complete with a TV and a kitchenette with a dining room table, a hutch filled with tableware, tea and coffee, a refrigerator, air frier/toaster oven, a toaster, coffee maker and a tea maker.

The bedroom is spacious and has a very comfortable king bed and a walk in closet.

The bathroom has a beautifully tiled shower, sink and toilet with a heat lamp, a vanity and a linen closet.

The Loft is fully equipped for your comfort.

You will have access to your own private deck that overlooks the back gardens and forest via lounge chairs. We have a propane grill on the deck for your use as well.

You will also have a living room with a cathedral ceiling, TV and library to enjoy as well as a kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, an air fryer toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, tea maker, and toaster.

The bedroom has a king, organic latex bed that is super comfortable, a walk in closet, an office nook wth a desk and a beautiful bathroom with a tiled shower.

This space is not handicapped accessible because it is on the 3rd floor.

It does not have a full kitchen but has a microwave, air fryer, fridge, toaster, electric tea kettle, a coffee maker, and an electric grill. Dishes have to be washed in the bathroom sink.

Also note that the bed is an organic, latex bed which is very comfortable if you like plush mattresses. If you are most comfortable on a firm mattress, this might not be comfortable for you.
There are 3 other units in the building so please be respectful of your neighbors and keep the noise down from 9pm to 9am. No candles or smoking inside because they are a fire hazard. Please recycle.
