Ferienhaus Achter de Kark im Herzen Greetsiels

The Achter de Kark holiday home is a charming, idyllic little cottage in a central, quiet location. The house can accommodate up to 6 people. Step inside this cosy, traditionally furnished Frisian cottage. From the hallway, you’ll enter the spacious living and dining area. The fireplace (please bring your own firewood) ensures wonderful evenings with a glass of wine. From the dining area, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the front yard and the Greetsiel Canal. Relax in the cosy seating area of the living room, listen to music, or watch your favourite show on TV. The kitchen offers everything you’d expect today: a dishwasher, microwave, plenty of dishes, silverware, and pots. In the two bedrooms, each with a double bed, you’ll find the rest you need at night so you can set out on new adventures the next day. The renovated bathroom is equipped with a new shower. The storage room next to the kitchen houses a vacuum cleaner and small cleaning supplies. The covered terrace rounds out the holiday rental. Here, you can unwind in any weather and enjoy the fresh North Sea air. In the adjacent garden, there’s a beach chair for relaxing. Additionally, a barbecue area (with a stone grill) ensures cosy evenings around the grill.
On the upper floor, you’ll first find a fully equipped kitchenette. The living room, which includes a dining area, features a cosy corner sofa for relaxing. A stereo system and TV are, of course, also provided here. On the balcony, which overlooks the garden, you’ll find peace and relaxation. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The new shower room completes the upper level.
Two parking spaces are available. In the front yard, featuring a mountain maple tree that’s approximately 150 years old, there’s a “breakfast terrace” with a view of the canal. An outdoor storage room is available for shared use. Wi-Fi is available. Your dog is also welcome.

A genuine Frisian house, centrally located in the historic town centre behind the church—ideal for enjoying the town’s attractions and the harbour via the shortest route, or for retreating in peace and quiet. The house offers space for the whole family, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Note regarding linens:
Linens are not included in the rental price. We ask that you bring your own bed linens and towels.
If you prefer a more convenient option, we’d be happy to provide both upon prior arrangement:
Bed linens: €10.00 per set and towels: €5.00 per set
We’ll leave the ordered linens for you in a laundry bag at the property. The beds will not be made!
Payment is straightforward and is included with the tourist tax as part of the final payment.
