This charming one-bedroom flat (43m2) in Zermatt offers a cozy and comfortable living atmosphere amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery. It was totally renovated in the summer of 2023. The flat is located in a well-maintained apartment building offering fantastiv views of the entire Matterhorn.
The living area is tastefully furnished and has a comfortable sofa, a dining area and a generously equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances. The windows let in plenty of natural light. The south-facing balcony offers a beautiful view of the Matterhorn and the garden, where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or watch the sunset over the Alps in the evening.
The bathroom has a washbasin with a stone basin and a shower. Everything is clean and functionally designed.
The flat sleeps 2 people and is ideal for couples or solo travelers who appreciate the beauty of Zermatt and its proximity to the ski slopes and hiking trails. This flat promises not only a comfortable and relaxing stay, but also unforgettable views of one of the most famous mountain peaks in the world. It is the perfect place for guests seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers and sports enthusiasts.
House Vira
House Vira is located on a hill in the southern part of Zermatt in the quiet Winkelmatt/upper Tuftra district, from where you can admire the majestic Matterhorn in all its glory. It is surrounded by meadows and woods and a beautiful garden. It is ideally located on the hiking trails towards Schwarzsee, Findeln and Gornergrat and the ski slope return from Gornergrat and Schwarzsee towards Winkelmatten and Zermatt. The bus stop is about 200 meters away. In Winkelmatten/Tuftra you can eat excellently in 5 restaurants. Due to its quiet location on the edge of the village, it is the ideal place for sports enthusiasts, hikers and nature lovers or people who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The apartments have all been recently renovated and offer a pleasant level of comfort. The house has an elevator and free WLAN connection. Guests are looked after by the owner family.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and provided great recommendations. The place was very clean, views of The Matterhorn were incredible, and we were within walking distance to the free city bus and Furi gondola lift.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment is in a great location, quiet and with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Only a few minutes walk to the gondola station. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed the few days.

y spacious studio with incredible views

Beautiful spacious studio with wonderful views over the Matterhorn. The place is very modern and new and exceptionally clean, the facilities, kitchen equipment and utensils had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved staying at Vira House.

Studio with a great Matterhorn view and short walk to the Glacier Paradise gondola

Lovely, well-designed studio, perfect for skiers in any season (we skied on a glacier in July) and for hikers in summer. Gorner Gorge trail is within 0.3 miles, Gornergrat railroad bridge with fantastic views is just up the hill, though requires proper footwear to hike to it. The hosts are great and very responsive.

Perfect spot

Thank you so much for hosting us! Everything was exactly as pictured! Beautiful view of the Matterhorn right from the porch. Perfect location for skiing. 10/15 min walk from the downtown restaurants. We had everything we needed in the apartment (other than shampoo and conditioner). The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend this place to all my friends and family and hope to be back one day.

Wir haben über Weihnachten und Silvester 2024/25 elf wundervolle Tage im Studio des Hauses Vira verbracht. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und umsichtig, der Zustand und die Einrichtung des Studios sind perfekt, die Anbindung mit dem Bus ( rote Linie ) ist sehr angenehm, der Preis ist absolut angemessen- aber das Allergrößte ist der unglaublich schöne Blick auf das Matterhorn! Immer gerne wieder !!! Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen ! D G
