Come spend your holiday with us on the Schlei. The Alte Schmiede is a modern, bright, cosy holiday home for up to 6 people, steeped in history, in the tranquil town of Ulsnis.

Our holiday home is family-friendly, and dogs are also welcome. The property is located near the Schlei and features a large, child-friendly, fenced-in yard with playground equipment, patio furniture, and a barbecue area for summer gatherings.

The surrounding area is perfect for biking, hiking, and all kinds of water sports. The beach is a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride away. The Baltic Sea and cities such as Schleswig, Eckernförde, Arnis, Kappeln, and Flensburg are easily accessible. We’re also easily accessible by public transport or bike. If you’d like to leave your car at home, we’d be happy to advise you on the best ways to get around the region by public transport or bike. Plus, in that case, you’ll receive your laundry sets for free.

A beautiful holiday home on two floors. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy kitchen-dining area equipped with many useful kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher. The bathroom with a shower and toilet is also located on the ground floor. The spacious upper floor features one bedroom with a double bed and another with two single beds. In the living room, in addition to the seating area, there is an extra sofa bed (1.40 x 2.10 m) in the reading nook. From the spacious garden, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view towards the Schlei.

We are a German-English family. You’re welcome to practice your English with us if you’d like. We also have sheep that you’re welcome to help us feed if you’d like.
