Here you will still find the real France, with small picturesque villages and friendly locals! The region offers everything a holiday heart desires. There is plenty of space, peace, complete silence, clean air, true darkness at night or starry skies. Old cart tracks for walking, winding roads for cycling, many lakes and streams for fishing, canoeing or swimming and everywhere rolling green meadows where the famous red-brown Limousin cows graze Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. We stayed for week end of March/early April. Our hosts were fantastic with clear email messages sending helpful “things to do” listings. We know the area well and found this really useful.The pool is not in use till June, it would have been way too cold! But this didn’t detract from the huge number of rural walks available.The house was spotlessly clean. Close to a village shop but you do need a car to go to the larger towns/shops. The week flew by and we wished we could stay longer. A really peaceful, no stress home away from home. Highly recommend it.
