The holiday home "Gätschenberger" with its historic façade in Lorraine style dating from 1833, was completely and beautifully renovated in June 2023. The latter is equipped with high-quality equipment throughout its 115m².<br>It is surrounded by premium and long-distance hiking trails in the beautiful Saarland. <br>Our bedrooms have all been stylishly decorated with stucco ceilings and have a double bed. We have 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 1 on the upper floor.<br>There is also a shower room, a guest toilet, as well as a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and enough space to park bikes and charge them thanks to the available sockets.<br>On the upper floor there is a very large living room with a double sofa and armchairs. The 36 m² dining room leads to a large kitchen equipped with a ceramic hob, extractor hood, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine (filter and Nespresso), kettle and toaster. <br>There is also a third bedroom as well as a very large bathroom, which is equipped with a large walk-in shower, a toilet and a very large sink. From the kitchen there is direct access to the 18 m² balcony, where you can have breakfast, lunch or simply enjoy an evening sunset with a good glass of wine or a barbecue dinner.<br>The entire house is comfortably heated by underfloor heating, produced by a geothermal heat pump. <br>The radio, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, blanket and dog bowl are of course part of the house. For outdoor use, outdoor seating, sun loungers, parasols and a charcoal barbecue are available. <br>From the balcony it is possible to go directly to the wellness barn via a lighted path. Additional parking spaces are also available behind the house, from which there is easy and level access to the upper floor.<br>A charging station is available for electric vehicles (billing is based on consumption and the current tariff of the local energy supplier). For our dear four-legged friends, we have also installed a dog shower with hot water and dry towels in the main house.<br>However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the rear outdoor area (terrace and garden) is not yet fully completed (various construction works). This work is expected to be completed by April 2024. <br>And if you don't feel like cooking for yourself, the bistro-pizzeria "Alte Schule" is 100 m away, where you can let yourself be spoiled by Mediterranean and regional dishes.<br><br>Next to the holiday home "Gätschenberger" (at Markustrasse 7), we offer our guests, 100 m from our main holiday home "Gasthaus Müller" (Markusstraße 11), our highlight, the "wellness barn".<br>It is a 750 m² spa centre with everything you need to visit the Saarland. There is a large saltwater swimming pool with 8x3.75x1.55 heated to 28°C all year round, a sauna for up to 10 people, a jet shower and a well-heated relaxation room for relaxing on cold days. Outside the wellness barn there is a south-facing covered hot tub with air and massage nozzles for up to 8 people, surrounded by large garden furniture without vis-à-vis. <br>For this purpose, a wellness bag with bath towels is available to our guests free of charge in each of our rooms. <br>
