About this property

Quiet Panorama Paradise: Huge House, Pool & Sunset

Welcome to the San Diego Carveacre Ranch an expansive mountain sanctuary in Alpine, CA. Bordering the majestic Cleveland National Forest, this private estate offers the perfect balance of adventure and seclusion. While you feel worlds away in the heart of nature, you are ideally positioned to enjoy both the rugged beauty of the mountains and the vibrant energy of San Diego. Whether you have spent the day surfing the world-class beaches or exploring iconic city attractions, the ranch is your serene haven to return to.
The true luxury of the Golden Horizon Ranch lies in its scale. With expansive living areas, your group can gather in the grand living room, anchored by a warm fireplace the perfect setting for cozy evenings. Despite the home’s grand size, its thoughtful layout ensures that every guest finds their own corner of peace.
The estate features three distinct outdoor spaces, each purposefully designed to capture the beauty of the landscape. The Morning Patio is the ideal spot to enjoy your breakfast; it is perfectly positioned to capture the soft morning light while providing comfortable shade, making it the best place to welcome the day with a coffee in the crisp mountain air. As the day turns to evening, head to the Sunset Deck, our prime vantage point for the evening spectacle, where the sky dips into a golden glow. For the night, the Stargazer’s Deck is your private observatory, offering an unobstructed view of the Milky Way.
The heart of our outdoor living is the custom-built Rockscape Lagoon. After a day of exploration, there is nothing like cooling off in this private oasis. Whether you are coming home from the coast or a trip to the local wineries, the lagoon offers a resort-style experience right outside your door.
We want you to feel entirely at home. Our kitchen is fully stocked for your arrival, and should you wish to skip the shopping entirely, our team is happy to arrange a personalized grocery service for you.
From the crackling fireplace to the breeze-filled afternoons by the lagoon, the Golden Horizon Ranch is a place of perpetual calm. This is your home to gather, to breathe, and to remember.
