From the fully furnished south-facing balcony, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains—the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or dinner, or to wind down at the end of the day. Free parking is available in front of the house. <br><br>Hiking and biking trails, as well as cross-country ski trails, start right at your doorstep. A supermarket is just 100 metres away. The bus stop with connections to the Winklmoosalm ski and hiking area is also just a few steps away. The ski and hiking buses can be used free of charge with the guest card. The idyllic town centre, with its many restaurants and charming shops, is about a 15-minute walk away. The car park is located right in front of the house. Free parking is available in front of the house.<br> Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderate and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilising natural heat and providing ample bus service.
