Enjoy the charm of this romantic and fully restored thatched cottage combined with the conveniences of modern technology. The spacious layout and the 2,500-square-meter garden exude a pleasant holiday atmosphere. The Rosenkate is a smoke-free home. We ask that you smoke on the terrace.

The house is surrounded by a garden lovingly landscaped with roses, fruit trees, and ornamental shrubs, where romantic paths lead to various seating areas and terraces. A gazebo is available for cooler evenings.

The wide sandy beaches of the natural spa town of St. Peter-Ording are about 8 km away and can be reached in no time by car or bicycle. If you’d rather not go to St. Peter-Ording for a swim, why not visit the swimming area in Vollerwiek (about a 3-minute drive)? It’s also easily accessible by bike. At this DLRG-patrolled swimming area, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing day at the beach: parking, freshwater showers, sunbathing areas on the grassy slope, a sandpit, and steps leading into the water. Behind the dike, there’s a popular beach snack bar.
