Have you heard the news? One of Thomas Dambo's 23' Wooden Trolls just arrived in Elk Horn, Iowa in April, 2026 and we are located right next to her trail! Park for free on Main Street in front of this historic building and comfortably walk anywhere from restaurants, to the iconic Danish Windmill relocated here from Denmark itself! Enjoy the festivities whether it be Tivolifest, Julefest or any of the other events and parades year-round. We provide a front row seat and a bird's eye view for all that is happening here in town! Come see America's Little Denmark and experience the Danish American Museum, Danish Countryside Winery, The Little Mermaid Fountain & Sculpture Garden, Climb onboard with Ms. Fjord Ferryman as your guide through the prairies that exude the beauty of all seasons here in the Midwest! The hospitality here is second to none in this small Danish Village with Population of almost 600! We are waiting for you and would love to open our doors for your perfect stay here at our spacious 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment (previously an opera house) on this second level exquisitely decorated easygoing atmosphere that encourages relaxation and tranquility. Embrace the slow life here in rural America, quiet mornings sipping coffee on your private enclosed deck or meet the locals at The Kringleman Pastry Shop next door (coffee vouchers included with each stay)! At night, reach out and touch the stars, no city lights block their view here, but we will keep our light on for you!
