About this property

Rare Rainforest Hideaway -.Experience the sights & sounds of the true jungle!

Escape to your private Hawaiian jungle retreat. Experience the peaceful side of Big Island in a quiet, rural setting surrounded by lush rainforest on the East Hilo side of the island.

Tucked into 1.5 gated acres of Big Island rainforest, this is your own private wing of a working jungle homestead — with 2 story, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 beds including a sofa bed. We also offer a roll away twin bed and a blow up queen air mattresses for those unexpected tag-a-longs. The guests cant stop raving about the views from the screened windows, feeling completely submerged in the jungle, with a yard full of fruit trees you’re welcome to forage from (just ask what’s in season).

>Enjoy a unique jungle experience while still being conveniently located near waterfalls, black sand beaches, Volcanoes National Park, scenic drives and many of the islands most popular attractions.

>Plan a trip to Volcano's National Park to try to catch an episode of the famous Kilauea erupting!! Its like nothing you've ever seen!

>You are welcome to stroll through the tropical property and enjoy the seasonal fruit, and as said, please just ask what's right before picking.

>Rain or shine, enjoy the covered outdoor BBQ area, a guest favorite for grilling while listening to tropical rain.

>You have use of all of our beach gear including beach towels, surfboards and boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, snorkel gear, water shoes, floaties, & rain ponchos.

>Fall asleep to the magical sounds of the rainforest, including the coqui frogs, crickets, nocturnal birds and rain on the tin roof.

>Wake up to the sounds of tropical birds, breathe in the rainforest air, and experience a side of Hawaii that many visitors never see.

~We look forward to welcoming you to your home away from home. We are always here for anything that you ever need.

This is the real Hawai’i — wild, colorful, and magical!

ALOHA from Big Island, Hawai’i!!
My husband and I moved here a little over a year ago. We bought our property from a family member and inherited their short-term rental. We have decided to dedicate our lives to making other people’s dream vacations come true. We absolutely love what we do. Mahalo for checking us out. 🤙🏼

Why they chose this property

We chose this area because it is the true jungle. There are only a few of us with these lots on this island. I absolutely love everything about living where we do. And we love sharing our secrets with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because it’s one of the very few on the entire island located in the rainforest like this. With that, you don't often find people as passionate as we are about what we have and what we give. You can’t go very many places in the world and experience what you can here with us. AND, our main goal is to give you the most memorable experience possible! It's truly what makes me happy. Unlike other hosts, we are ALWAYS here to meet all of your needs, day or night. It's more than just providing a place to stay, it's giving you a unique, magical place to slow down, explore, reconnect and experience something special together. I love knowing that they will tell their story long after they've gone home and that our little piece of paradise was part of those unforgettable moments. The word I hear most to describe our guest's experience is "Magical".
