About this property

Tiny Home overlooking 1,800 Acres! Waxahachie Tx 30 to Dallas

Sunsets and a sea of stars over Texas. This is the quiet you drive out of the city to find.

Picture pulling up a private drive as the day winds down. A beautifully finished tiny home waits under a big shade tree, with 1,800 acres of open farmland rolling out behind it to the horizon. No traffic, no crowds. Just wide-open sky, a fading Texas sunset, and after dark, more stars than you have seen in years. This peaceful country tiny home near historic Waxahachie is an easy yes for families, couples, weekend travelers, and traveling nurses working near the hospital.

Why guests love it

Cook a real dinner in the full kitchen: stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink, marble-look counters
Curl up by the LED fireplace, with flames you can shift from warm red to cool blue
Sleep easy in the queen bedroom, with a full bathroom and full-size washer and dryer just steps away
Rock on the deep covered porch at golden hour, then stay out for the stars
Stay cool or cozy year-round with a quiet, efficient mini-split

The space
This 400 square foot tiny home lives far bigger than its size, with vaulted shiplap ceilings, warm wood floors, and a bright, open layout. It sleeps six to seven (a queen bed for two, a sofa that sleeps one, and two queen sized air mattresses), and it is both family friendly and pet friendly with prior approval. The covered front porch is fully railed, so kids can play safely while you unwind.

A quiet base, close to everything

8 minutes to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center (ideal for traveling nurses and medical professionals)
3 minutes to Highway 287
20 minutes to Lake Waxahachie
30 minutes to downtown Dallas
44 minutes to downtown Fort Worth
45 minutes to AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field in Arlington

Historic downtown Waxahachie, the "Gingerbread City" known for its Victorian architecture, sits just minutes away with local shops, coffee houses, breweries, and restaurants. Explore the square, catch live music at Big Al's Down the Hatch, visit the famous Scarborough Renaissance Festival each spring, or take an easy day trip to the Perot Museum, the Dallas World Aquarium, or the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Whether you are planning a family getaway, a romantic weekend, a peaceful reset, or a work assignment near the hospital, this quiet country tiny home is your home base. Come slow down, watch the sunset from the porch, and see why the wide-open Texas sky is so good for the soul.

Good to know
The tiny home shares the parcel with the main house, where the hosts live. You will have your own private space, entrance, and parking, and we respect your privacy. The city is installing water lines on the county land directly behind the property (not on our grounds), so there are temporary dirt mounds for now, with daytime work by city crews and full restoration when it wraps. A friendly border collie lives behind the main-house fence and stays in his own area, with no guest contact. We share this upfront so there are no surprises.
