Val and her husband were very hospitable. I have rented from VRBO many times and have never met the owner of the property but walked in to a list of rules and instructions for checkout. That was not the case with Val's retreat! Even though we did not get in until close to 10pm Val was still there to greet us, gave us a tour of cabin, had our towels on the towel warmer, ensured the hot tub was at a nice relaxing temperature and even had cookies on the kitchen table and snacks with bottled water in the fridge. Oh and I can't forget her husband, Richard already had a fire going in our private fire pit, he even made a fire the following night while we were still out visiting with family. It was so wonderful and defiantly a change to have such and kind welcome. Our oldest daughter is getting married in a year and half and she wants to book both suites and have a bachelorette weekend there. I think we will have to do this for sure. I had mentioned this to Val while we were there so she even took time on Sunday to give us a tour of the other suite. We will defiantly be booking with Val anytime we are in town to visit with family and most likely a bachelorette weekend as well! Thank you Val and Richard!!
