A lovely flat in a beautifully quiet spot. The ground-floor flat is ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers. You are in the middle of the Drentse countryside, a good starting point for long walks or to enjoy the peace and quiet on the terrace. 'Vrijzicht' is located at the edge of the village, with unobstructed views over the fields and meadows around. An extensive network of cycling and walking paths can be found in the surrounding area. Enjoy the beautiful natural areas Drenthe has to offer. Four kilometres south of the village is the Takkenhoogte, a beautiful heathland area on the northern flank of the Reest valley. A marked walking route of 4.5 kilometres runs through the area of the Takkenhoogte and the Meeuwenveen. The gardens of Mien Ruys are within cycling distance, as are the Priona gardens and those of the Lazy Gardener. Need something different for a day? Meppel and Hoogeveen are within easy reach, nice to visit. And at Tea Time in Echten, you can enjoy an extensive high tea!
