About this property

3BR Home on the Hood Canal with beach access & views

Summary:

Experience serenity and timeless Northwest charm at this stunning mid-century waterfront retreat. Only 10 minutes from the vibrant town of Poulsbo and all of its conveniences, yet blissfully removed from the hustle and bustle, this home invites you into the quiet beauty of the coast.

Nestled along 75 feet of pristine, bulkheaded shoreline, this property offers mesmerizing views of the Olympic Mountains and the ever-changing Hood Canal, where eagles soar, kayakers glide, and Navy submarines occasionally pass by.

The Space:

Inside, the open and airy main floor welcomes you with a wall of windows that flood the home with natural light and frame the spectacular water and mountain vistas. The space exudes warmth with mahogany and bamboo flooring and features a 65' smart TV for streaming your favorites during cozy evenings in. The well-equipped kitchen features a walk-in pantry and eating bar, opening seamlessly to the inviting sunroom, living, and dining areas. The sunroom is a guest favorite and is an exceptionally cozy spot on full or partially sunny days, and the perfect nook for morning coffee or quiet relaxation.

Upstairs, discover your private sanctuary in the newly remodeled primary suite. Wake up to tranquil marine views, then step onto your secluded deck to savor your morning coffee as seals and seabirds welcome the day. Both upstairs bathrooms have been completely renovated with custom-tiled showers, new vanities, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and upgraded lighting and fixtures for a spa-like experience. A convenient desk on the upstairs landing offers the perfect setup for remote work or writing with a view.

Step outside and discover equally captivating outdoor spaces, where a spacious patio and grassy yard lead to a picturesque path that winds gently down to your private beach. Towering evergreens frame both the front and back yards, creating a serene retreat that feels worlds away. A smaller deck overlooking the water provides the perfect spot for sunset cocktails, while the newly improved path ensures safe and effortless access to the beach for all your waterfront enjoyment.

If you're looking for an ideal addition to your Pacific Northwest getaway, take the short 10-minute drive to the charming, historic town of Port Gamble to visit the museum, browse unique shops, or enjoy lunch in the park. You can also explore historic and coastal sites up and down the Kitsap Peninsula — drive north to scenic coastal towns, visit historic lighthouses such as Point No Point Lighthouse near Hansville, or take forest and shoreline walks in nature preserves like Foulweather Bluff for a rugged-coast experience.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from all-new furnishings and comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to six guests to inviting spaces designed for both rest and connection. Whether you spend your days exploring the Hood Canal, paddle boarding on calm waters, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views, this home offers a perfect blend of mid-century charm, natural beauty, and modern comfort.

Our stay was wonderful, the view is absolutely stunning, the house is clean and well equipped. We visited Poulsbo, Seabeck and did some hikes around but we most enjoyed the sun setting over a layered shades of the Olympic Mountains from the backyard. We even saw a submarine go by!
