About the Accommodation

The 4-room holiday home, designed for up to 9 people, is available for your exclusive use and exudes real chalet charm with its three floors. In the basement, a large leisure room with table tennis and darts invites you to linger, while practical amenities such as a washing machine and tumble dryer make your stay comfortable. The kitchen on the raised ground floor is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer compartment, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob and numerous kitchen utensils. For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso machine and a fully automatic coffee machine to ensure a perfect start to the day. The adjoining living and dining room, with its large sofas and extendable dining table, offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. A soapstone stove ensures cozy hours, while a TV with DVD player, a selection of DVDs and many books provide entertainment. The bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed (180x200 cm) and is located next to a modern bathroom with shower/WC and bathroom sink. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms and a second, modern bathroom with plenty of natural light, a bathtub, WC and bathroom sink. The smaller room is furnished with a twin bed (2 beds 90x200 cm each), while the largest room under the roof has five single beds (90x200 cm each). Shelves and cupboards in all rooms provide plenty of storage space. Please note that pets are not allowed in this chalet and that Chalet Chapfwald is a non-smoking chalet. Free Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the holiday chalet, making your stay even more enjoyable. Car parking is available in front of the house.

Here is your holiday home with plenty of space between mighty mountains and the crystal-clear Walensee. The house is in an idyllic location very close to the popular "Chapf" viewpoint, at the end of a gravel path and in front of a spruce forest. The location alone promises a real Swiss holiday for the whole family. The house can accommodate up to 9 people in 3 bedrooms. The balcony, terrace and garden invite you to take a cozy break. Enjoy your holiday in the middle of an enchanting adventure region with varied hiking trails, spectacular viewpoints and plenty of natural beauty. The popular Amden-Arvenbüel ski area is right on the doorstep, so to speak. The ski school in particular is within easy reach. The cross-country ski trail and winter hiking trails start right in front of the house. The nearest bus stop "Arvenbüel, Arven" is 1 kilometer away.

In winter, the Amden-Arvenbüel ski area is the highlight for children. The sporty pistes on the Mattstock and Bärenfall can be reached from the village of Amden. The Amden-Arvenbüel sun terrace has plenty to offer at any time of year. Our tip: A cozy evening at the "Brittertannen" family fireplace. The fireplace is within easy walking distance of the holiday home and is in an idyllic location. Together with the Heidiland, Glarnerland and Lake Zurich regions in the neighbourhood, the excursion possibilities within an hour's drive are almost endless. A perfect place for a family holiday in Switzerland.
