The small holiday apartment is accessible at ground level via the windmill. However, it is not wheelchair accessible.

Windmill with a small holiday apartment

for up to 10 people (9 adults and one baby)


The windmill spans 3 floors, and the small holiday apartment has direct access to the windmill’s living area on the ground floor. The windmill and the holiday apartment still have two separate entrances, so larger groups can split up a bit.


(Since the windmill is combined with the adjacent holiday apartment, and there is only one of each—the windmill and the small holiday apartment—double bookings, such as booking the windmill and the windmill with the holiday apartment for the same time period, are naturally not possible, even if the booking system might allow it.)


If you’d like to have the place all to yourselves, when booking the windmill with the holiday rental, it may be possible, upon arrangement, exclusive use of the entire property may be possible upon request.



Relax and recharge your batteries in the historic windmill, built in 1867. The windmill was restored in 2012 and has been wind-powered again since 2015 (i.e., the windmill turns its blades on special occasions). The windmill and the adjacent apartment offer 180 m² of living space—located directly beneath the fully functional gear mechanism in the mill cap (which visitors are welcome to explore). The windmill, complete with a small holiday apartment, can accommodate up to 10 people. Children are very welcome. There’s also a small playground in the garden with a climbing structure, sandpit, and swing, as well as various games inside for days when the weather isn’t so good. The 2,000-square-meter property is fully fenced. Dogs are very welcome. The windmill is often used for special occasions (gifts, wedding anniversaries, family gatherings, etc.).



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
