You’ll spend your holiday at a former farmhouse built around the turn of the century (1900). After German reunification, it was used as a horse farm for nearly 20 years. Large parts of the property have been renovated. The farm is located in a very quiet setting in the village of Weddin, which has 87 residents. At night, all you can hear are the animals in the forest. This beautiful four-sided farmstead is nestled in the stunning foothills of the Fläming. It is surrounded by vast, biodiverse forests and cultivated landscapes. It is just 17 km to the Hoher Fläming Nature Park Centre (Tourist Information) in the village of Raben, where you’ll also find Rabenstein Castle (first mentioned in 1251). The Hoher Fläming Nature Park offers countless kilometres of hiking and biking trails.
Not far from the village of Weddin (approx. 12 km) lies Lutherstadt Wittenberg with its many sights. The City Church, the Castle Church, the Luther House, and the Melanchthon House are all part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also definitely worth a visit is the Garden Kingdom of Dessau–Wörlitz (approx. 15 km), which is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Right next to the holiday home, or in the courtyard of the four-sided courtyard, you’ll find your own terrace with a grill, as well as a fire pit where you can spend quiet, peaceful evenings listening to the crackling of a campfire. You’ll find additional seating and relaxation areas in and around the courtyard.

There’s also a large hot tub in the courtyard, which guests are welcome to use. It’s wonderfully relaxing after a long bike ride.
