This spacious Norwegian holiday home offers plenty of room to explore “Norway”—this fantastic Scandinavian country—together. Located in western Norway near the fjord on a wooded property between Rosendal and Ænes, this house offers excellent opportunities for beautiful day trips.

Furnished in a typical Norwegian style, the interior welcomes you with a cosy atmosphere. Take a seat by the window and let the nearby unspoiled nature work its magic on you. Inside the house, you’ll find several bedrooms. A spacious bathroom also contributes to a relaxing atmosphere. With windows all around, the house lets plenty of light into the rooms, even on overcast days.

At the boat dock, about 8 kilometres away, there are several 9.9 PS and 15 PS motorboats available for rent separately upon request. The Hardangerfjord and its tributaries are the perfect starting point for extended fishing trips. Last but not least, the fjord offers a refreshing swim for young and old alike near the island of Sild, close to Varaldsøy.

Fishing

There are plenty of fishing opportunities in the fjord, or you can take a motorboat out to fish. The owner will be happy to give you fishing tips and a copy of a nautical chart.

New fishing regulations for angling in Norway: Fjordhytte-38 is registered as a specialised tourism fishing business, so when you rent this property, you are permitted to export fish from Norway. Ask the owner upon arrival for the paperwork you’ll need to export the fish.

Motorboat
