Beautiful Rural Tuscany stay without a car

We had an amazing experience staying in Badia Agano. The property manager, Umberto, was honestly one of the loveliest and kindest property managers I’ve ever met. We made the grave error of booking this home without thinking about the fact that no one in the party could drive. However this didn’t stop Umberto as he offered to pick us all up from the station as well as drive us to the local supermarket and then drop us off at the station when we were leaving to go home. The property itself was stunning and myself and my friends were constantly amazed at the natural beauty surrounding us. The home was clean, accessible and there was a lovely present in the form of a bottle of white wine waiting for us on our arrival. The town itself in Badia Agano was quaint and cosy. On our final night we found a delicious restaurant called “La Chiave Dei Sapori”, which was delightful and great way to round off the trip. Couldn’t reccommend this property/area enough for holidays or if you know someone getting married in the area.

Familienurlaub in der Toskana

Platz für 8 Personen war ausreichend vorhanden. Küchenausstattung und Wohnzimmer könnte eine Überarbeitung vertragen. Hier und da könnten die Bäder auch überarbeitet werden. Der Pool war super. Alles in allem war die Unterkunft gut und wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.

Het was een mooi huis, alleen ontbreken er nog wat dingen. De drinkglazen/thee/koffie kopjes en bestek mag wel wat beter. Te weinig. Niet echt schoon (o.a. douche cabine) Een grondige jaarlijkse onderhoud zou niet verkeerd zijn. Een keer problemen gehad met de geiser, geen warmwater. Werd direct verholpen. U. (eigenaar) deed er alles aan om dit te verhelpen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Gelsomini, in der bis auf ein paar Küchenutensilien (z.B. ein ordentliches Schneidebrett) alles vorhanden war was man für einen gemütlichen Urlaub mit Freunden gebraucht hat. Die Unterkunft ist bodenständig und hat eine tolle Lage um von dort aus Tagesausflüge nach Siena, Florenz; Montepulciano oder Arezzo zu unternehmen. Nur das WLAN lies etwas zu wünschen übrig. Aber das macht im Urlaub auch mal nicht so viel aus.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Vermieter sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Großes Haus in wunderschöner landschaftlicher Lage, großzügiger eigener Außenbereich mit herrlichem Blick, eigener schöner Grillplatz. Wunderschöner Pool, tägliche Reinigung, gleichbleibend erfrischende Wassertemperatur. Entfernung zu kleinen Läden, Obst und Gemüse, Brauerei, Restaurant gut fußläufig erreichbar. Wer mag kann vom Vermieter Wein von seinem eigenen Weingut kaufen.
