Very good

Property was excellent.
However we had great difficulty in contacting the keyholder as name and telephone number given by Inter Chalet on our travel documents were incorrect.
Also when we eventually met the keyholder she had not been informed that we had pre-booked all bed linen. So on our arrival she had to make up 9 beds. This was obviously inconvenient and embarrassing both for her and us. It was not a good start to our stay.
One final comment: although it didn't inconvenience us, on arrival all communication had to be in French. Therefore
as this property appears on a British website it would be helpful if there was a note to point this out.

Very poor
Large house with plenty of interior space and a large garden. It is very dated, with worn out bathroom fittings and the towels were extremely old and thin. There is a lot of personal stuff here, with family photos, desks containing old handbags, notebooks and other random things. I can live with most conditions, but it felt like someone left in 1970 and nothing has been fully cleaned or updated at all since. The dark blue bath was so stained, I would never expect anyone to use it. Shower upstairs was OK, though the shower curtain had pink mould along the bottom. We didn't put our clothes in drawers or wardrobes, but still I have had to wash everything we took with us twice, to get rid of the smell of this house. The agent was absolutely lovely, I felt a bit sorry for her, having to present this house to people. I'm sorry to give a negative review, but I have to be honest.

Hello Julie,
We regret that your experiences in this place did not meet your satisfaction. Cleaning issues that involve mold and smell should be reported to the keyholder immediately so that it is resolved during the stay. The owner is informed of the points raised in this review, and proceeded to purchase new towels as well as purchased some odor eliminators. The bathtub is preparations for resurfacing by the end of this year and shower curtains are replaced often. We regret that your stay was affected by inconveniences. Though we do hope that you can give our holiday homes another chance.
Kind regards,
Interhome.
