We had to leave 200 euros cash that we weren’t notified of. Additionally getting into contact with her through Vrbo or Expedia was impossible and Expedia Customer support had to intervene. Everything else was excellent.

A lovely apartment with a wonderful view!

What a view to have for breakfast each morning!! Very clean, well-laid out apartment, with a beautiful view from the veranda, lounge and bedroom. Stefy, the owner, very friendly and helpful. Nice walk into Varenna (about 50 minutes walk), which is where the boats sail from. We bought a 6 day boat pass (45 Euros) for the central lake area, visiting many of the towns/villages, which all have so much character. Our favourite was Varenna itself, having a great variety of lakeside restaurants, ice cream shops, and steep alleyways. One day we bought an extra ticket and traveled down to Como.....beautiful 2 and half hour trip (on the way back we came half of the journey by the faster boat, so as to have longer in Como). Como itself was rather busy for us. I would advise having a car if you would prefer not/are not able to walk the 50 minutes to Varenna. For our part we loved the freedom of not having a car, as roads in the towns/villages are narrow and I would imagine very congested in the summer months. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment!

Schöne Unterkunft Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Selbstversorger wenig, nur mit Auto erreichbar. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein für den Aufstieg. Dafür jedoch traumhafte Aussicht.

Apartament jest bardzo dobrze wyposażonym mieszkaniem. Kuchnia posiada wszystko co potrzebne do przygotowania posiłków. Widok z tarasu zapiera dech. Do Varenny 30 min drogi, ale z powrotem pod górę, więc można się zmęczyć:)

Tolle Lage, ruhig, super Ausblick

Der Blick in die Landschaft ist unverstellt und atemberaubend schön. Die Lage der teils überdachten Terrasse Richtung Nord-Westen verspricht tolle Sonnenuntergänge! In der Nähe verläuft der Wanderweg Viandante (Strada Vecchia in Pino), der mal eben, mal steil bergauf und bergab verläuft. Mit dem Nachbarshund kann man sich gut anfreunden, dann bleibt er ruhig und gelassen, wenn man sich sieht.

Perfekte Lage

Sehr schöne Lage und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Unterhalb der Anlage verläuft eine Bahntrasse. Ist aber nicht sonderlich störend. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist optimal. WLAN nur eingeschränkt möglich. Handys ok. Laptop konnte keine Verbindung aufbauen.

Ein schöner Urlaub

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Sogar eine Spülmaschine! Die Nachbarn sind nett und der Blick auf den See hinaus ist traumhaft. Die Bahnlinie stört nicht weiter. Bei der Anreise sollte man vorher schon im Supermarkt vorbeifahren und sich das Nötigste besorgen. Im Ortsteil Pino selbst gibt es keine fußläufig erreichbare Einkaufsmöglichkeit.

Wij waren hier voor 3 weken. En bij aankomst was het al best schrikken. Het appartement is erg gedateerd. En zeer gehorig. Alles moet je met de auto doen. Zelfs de bakker die zoals beschreven dichtbij zou zijn is te ver weg. Het uitzicht was erg mooi maar alle huizen zijn met dit uitzicht gebouwd . Schoon was het wel maar helaas toch wel ongedierte binnen waardoor je geen rust meer hebt. Voor de supermarkt en een plekje aan het meer moet je een kwartier rijden. En de airco kost 5 euro per dag!!!

Thank you for comments. Since this property is in the nature and close to a lake, it can be expected that insects will be present. As it is located in small villages, quiet and you have to walk to reach everything. Regarding noises, the train, can be heard, where the first one in the morning passes around 6:00 am, at about 1.30 hour intervals, and the last one passes at 10:00 pm.

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick

Wenn man von den Stromleitungen absieht hat man von der Terrasse aus eine Postkarten-Aussicht. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger negativ Punkt ist das von 5 Uhr morgens bis 10 Uhr abends der Zug in ca halbstündlichen Takt vorbeifährt.

Die Aussicht war wunderbar. Die Bahnlinie unterhalb des Hangs war mit 3 Zügen (Personenverkehr u. Güterzug) schon laut, vor allem am Morgen um 5:11 Uhr fuhren die ersten Züge bis ca. 23:00 Uhr. Reisetipps: Ausflüge mit Hund, Restaurants u. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur mit Auto möglich (wenn man mal einen Parkplatz bekommt. Keine Verständigung mit Deutsch möglich (nur Italienisch od. Englisch) selbst in der Apotheke wo ich ein Medikament kaufen wollte. Nicht jeder spricht Englisch u. Internet nicht vorhanden, so konnte ich auch nicht übersetzen von Deutsch / Italienisch.

Un appartement agréable avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse

Un accueil sympathique pour commencer le séjour. L'appartement est très agréable. La terrasse est grande et offre vue magnifique sur le lac pour les repas. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Varenna et son port ne sont qu'à 2 km, ce qui nous a permis de passer la semaine sans utiliser la voiture. Endroit magnifique pour découvrir le lac de Come.
