A warm welcome to our holiday home in Ilsenburg in the Harz Mountains, right next to the national park. Our holiday homes are located in the Ilse Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Harz Mountains, in a completely peaceful—but not isolated—setting on the outskirts of town. Right outside the holiday homes, you’ll find the wild and romantic landscape of the Hochharz National Park, featuring wonderful mountain streams, steep rocky cliffs, and pristine forests.
The 60 m² holiday apartment, with its 2 bedrooms, offers plenty of space for up to 5 people. The open-concept living area features a fully equipped solid-wood kitchen, a dining area, and a cosy sofa corner with a flat-screen TV. There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet. From the terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the adjacent high forest! Perfect for a balmy summer evening with friends and family! The spacious “Ferienhäuser am Brocken” holiday complex features a playground that’s perfect for swinging, digging, and playing football.

A wide variety of recreational activities are within walking distance of the holiday homes: a water playground, a Kneipp facility, a climbing forest, a disc golf course, and the Ilsenburg National Park Visitor Centre. You can start the most popular hiking trails right from the holiday homes. Arguably the most beautiful hike up the Brocken, the “Heinrich-Heine-Weg,” follows the course of the Ilse River and runs right past our houses.
