Thanks to its central location, you can park your car right next to the apartment and reach all your destinations on foot.

The Accommodation
- The apartment is suitable for 2–3 people or a small family with a child. Upon request, we’re happy to provide a cot and a high chair. The couch can also be converted into a sleeping area.

- The local visitor’s tax is already included in the room rate for 2 people.

- Our “Gipfeloase” boasts a secluded location on the 3rd floor of a small, very well-maintained apartment building, with no immediate neighbors next door or above.

- Parking spaces are located directly across from the building. For electric cars: An ESB (regional energy provider) charging station is also located across the street.

- Our “Gipfeloase” is situated on a quiet street with little traffic, so you can find peace and relaxation here. Nevertheless, you’re only a 5-minute walk from the town centre, so you can experience the hustle and bustle of the town. Thanks to the apartment’s central location, you have the freedom to arrive by car or train, as the idyllic Mittenwald train station is within walking distance (4 min.)


Apartment Description

The open-concept living room welcomes you with exposed wooden beams and charming
sloped ceilings, which contribute to a warm and cosy atmosphere.
Large windows and direct access to the balcony let in plenty of light and harmoniously connect the space with nature, as you can see the mountain scenery from every window.

You’ll also find a smart TV and a couch that not only invites you to snuggle up but can also be converted into a two-meter-wide sleeping area if desired.

A dining table for 4 people connects the kitchen to the living-dining area and offers
plenty of space for shared meals and enjoyable evenings.

Enjoy the freedom to cook however you like and make the most of local ingredients. Whether you’re planning a quick breakfast, a cosy dinner, or a
leisurely family meal—in the fully equipped kitchen, you can bring your
cooking ideas to life. Thanks to the open floor plan, you’ll always be at the centre of the action even while cooking. And if you don’t feel like cooking at all but are in the mood for some culinary variety, the local restaurants are within walking distance.

Located in the attic with no direct neighbors, the bedroom is a
true oasis of peace and relaxation. It’s equipped with a spacious closet and a
comfortable (180 x 200 cm) bed, inviting you to enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

From the secluded balcony, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding Alpine landscape., Whether you’re enjoying breakfast with a view of the mountains or sipping a glass of wine in the evening—this place invites you to dream and linger.

In the naturally lit bathroom, you can relax and recharge in your private wellness oasis after a long hike or an eventful day in the snow. Sink into a hot bubble bath, let your mind wander, and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Karwendel mountain peaks.
The shower is also located directly under the sloped ceiling, so guests taller than 1.85 may need to adjust slightly.

Visitor’s tax in Mittenwald—Each guest receives a visitor’s card upon arrival. We’ll handle the registration with the tourism office and send you the visitor’s card. This card entitles you to various discounts and benefits. You can view these at alpenwelt-karwendel.de/gaestekarte.
