About this property

Vacation apartment with a wonderful view of the Weser

The charm of an older home surrounded by nature.
We’ve furnished a holiday rental for you featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, and a small workspace for working from home. The large garden is perfect for relaxing in the summer, and walks along the nearby Weser River or hikes in the Solling Mountains will quickly help you forget the stresses of everyday life. In winter, the Solling Mountains are perfect for sledding, and cross-country skiing enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy there. Less than 8 km away, you’ll find the small town of Höxter, which has been a regional highlight since the 2023 State Garden Show. Corvey Castle is also worth a visit.

Very clean and comfortable, well equiped. The information did not say the apartment was on the 2nd floor. No stair rail on the first flight of stairs. The description did not inform us that to get to the bedrooms you had to go through the bathroom, nor that you had to go through one bedroom to get to the second. No dryer, no view of the Waser. Hard to find the instructions for some appliances.
