Some places feel like home from the very first moment. “Heimatliebe” in Oevenum is one such place. Completed in 2024, this modern semi-detached home combines contemporary living with a genuine Frisian spirit across a spacious 120 m²—and it comfortably accommodates up to 5 people, including children and a dog.

Two stylishly furnished bedrooms ensure restful nights: a double bedroom with a closet and blackout curtains, and a second bedroom with three single beds, which is ideal for children or a third person. The spacious, open-concept living and dining area—featuring a modern kitchen, a cosy sofa nook, a PS4 gaming console, heated floors, and a desk—invites the whole family to make themselves completely at home. A particular favourite: the separate playroom in the attic—a retreat for children and those seeking peace and quiet alike.

Outside, a spacious south-facing garden awaits you, complete with a patio, sun loungers, a lawn for sunbathing, a gas grill, and a windbreak—your own little piece of Föhr where time seems to stand still. A garden shed with a power outlet is available for bicycles and outdoor gear, and there is a private parking space next to the house. A portable fence is provided for dogs, so your four-legged friend can also enjoy the freedom of the garden without a care.

The location in Oevenum combines the best of the island: thatched-roof Frisian houses, a restaurant, and public transport right outside the door (approx. 190 m), the golf course 300 m away, Wyk about a 10-minute bike ride away, and the beach approximately 3.4 km away. Two bakeries are easily accessible by bike.

Travel together while still maintaining your privacy: “Heimatliebe” can be booked together with the directly adjacent holiday rental “Ankerplatz”—perfect for two families or groups of friends who want to share a holiday while still enjoying their own private retreat.

You’re welcome to bring your own bed linens and towels. Alternatively, you can conveniently book linen packages for an additional fee.

Key pickup is available Monday through Saturday between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.—and, upon request, we’re happy to arrange a hassle-free contactless pickup. Check-out is available until 10:00 a.m. To ensure you can relax and enjoy your holiday from start to finish and make the most of your time with us, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out upon prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
